I had been looking for spelt noodles for quite some time when I found these on Amazon. There are plenty of regular noodles available of all types, but I prefer the fusilli because I don't need to cut or twirl them to eat them and they also hold whatever sauce I use nicely. The ones I ordered were multi colored - which in this case meant flavored with spinach for the green and tomato for the red - very nice touch - great flavor and I love the additional interest it added to the dishes I made with it. It cooked evenly, tasted great, and worked perfectly in the dishes I prepared with it! Will definitely buy this brand again when I need more!

My husband has problems with wheat but can tolerate spelt (although not everyone sensitive to gluten can). We were apprehensive about changing over to spelt products, but we both like this even better…nice chewy texture and very tasty. Our new favorite!

As a type of wheat I found it less tasty than durum wheat, but as a different type of wheat quite acceptable as a nutritional choice to add diversity to your diet.
