Traditional Medicinals Organic Green Tea, Peppermint, 16 Teabags (Pack of 6)

This is my favorite green tea, with a rich almost smoky flavor from the toasted rice and full smooth green tea taste. I have it on subscribe and save and drink at least one cup a day. I did my research on it, though, since I drink so much of it, I didn't want to be ingesting heavy metals or chemicals which are in so many of our teas these days (along with lots of other things we breath and eat, unfortunately). The tea bags are not made with any plastics and the tea is tested for chemicals and heavy metals. Thank you Traditional Medicinals!

Love, love, love the flavor. I not a big fan of ginger, but I had an iced tea at Whole Foods with this similar profile. It was so tasty that I went immediately to the tea aisle and bought this brand. I only drink it iced. I brew 2 bags in a cup of boiling water, let it steep for about 5 minutes and then pour over ice. I use Agave to sweeten. The ginger brightens up the green tea flavor really well. Also a great buy if you get the 6 pack.

It has all the health benefits of green tea and the great flavor of ginger. Because of its strong flavor I'm able to enjoy two cups of tea per tea bag, sometimes 3!

This review is for Ginger Green Tea.This is so delicious. The ginger is subtle, doesn't have a bite, but still manages to calm my stomach. Today I tried it iced for the first time and so happy I bought all 6 boxes. I'm definitely repurchasing.

I liked the older formula with the toasted rice mound on the front of the box. That formula was robust in green tea and toasted rice and one tea bag gave out a copious amount of tea and genmaicha to the ratio of one cup to one tea bag. One could also add more water to the first finished cup and get a little more genmaicha out of the used tea bag. It was most delicious and satisfying; I drank the tea regularly. NOW, I bought the new look box and the tea is just mediocre. It hardly gives out green tea and toasted rice. You can hardly see the green tea seeping out of the tea bags. My tea is bland. I keep hoping I will get a good bag out of the box, but I don't.I won't keep buying the new formula. I am going through my second box of the new now after finishing a whole 6 boxes of older formula genmiachas.I am very dissappointed in the genmaicha. We drink many of other Traditional Medicinals, but the disappointing things is they quit offering or making certain combination flavor teas that are tolerable to drink with the medicinal teas.

For those who find hard to drink green tea due to its strong herby flavor, this is a great option as it has a mild Henry flavor with a nutty hint.
