Updated review! Pro: work as expected no issues at all. Company is very responsive to concerns. Con: Although The adhesive back left a 3 1/2 -4 inches gapping hope in my wall, the company issued a partial refund. The direction are hard to read and understand I had to watch a YouTube video to install. But overall I love it.

Our application is a sensor for the toilet-trained cat and it's been marginally useful. The cat is much smaller than a human (thank goodness!) so you have to be very careful in where you place and aim the sensor or it will flush while your pet is still using the toilet (which none of us appreciate). It also lacks a time delay--if you move out of the sensor's range for just one second it begins flushing. Even a five second delay would make this much more user friendly, for humans and pets alike. On the other hand, it keeps your pet from playing with the floaters...Fine-tuning the installation is a bit finicky, but it's worked reliably since then. For a simple retrofit of an existing toilet, this appears to be the best option short of building your own using an Arduino or Raspberry Pi.

This works really well and was easy to install. We use it to keep the toilet full for our dogs, which drink from them anyway, while we are gone for the weekend. It can be adjusted to a wide range so it can easily detect the dogs.
