Botel Classic Environmental Borosilicate Glass Water Bottle with Nylon Sleeve, Black, 17-Ounce

The bottle is great for holding hot and cold beverages. I mainly use mine for water and I like that it does not have condensation on the outside. Because of the double wall, you want to make sure that you are careful, also the fact that it is glass is another great reason. The only complaint I have is that after the first week of washing, in the dishwasher on the top self (I do not heat dry my dishes), the acrylic portion on the lid started to crack along the edge where it is attached and then come off altogether. This does not affect the integrity of the bottle, just the aesthetics of it, so I have just been using it without the acrylic portion. My advice is to wash the lid by hand if you do not want this to happen. Overall, it is a nice bottle, the sleeve is great and is very helpful for keeping it in place in the car cup holder and from minor taps against hard surfaces that could cause the bottle to crack and break.

These very good bottles use both insulation filled nylon sleeves and double-wall borosilicate glass to preserve the temperature of the contents. What keeps them from getting a fifth star is that the gasket is made of softer rubber than is needed, resulting in a top that can be annoyingly difficult to remove. Also, when I first received the bottles, the soft rubber gaskets appeared to be glued to the lip of the bottle. They were not, it just appeared to be the case because of the softness of the rubber. The bottles are otherwise a pleasure to own and use, they fit well in cupholders, the sleeves spare your hands from the shock of cold fluids, perhaps a knurled or ridged cap would make opening easier.

Be warned that these water bottles are not durable at all. I bought two a few months ago. I stopped using the outside sleeves almost right away because the material began tearing where it attaches to the handles. They also break easily. Both bottles have been broken. One was dropped from about two feet off the ground and the other broke when I banged it into something accidentally. The lids also develop cracks in the very tops that don't really hurt anything. Fine product if you're able to be super careful with them but I don't find them practical for actual use.

I really like the glass bottles. They are double lined and really seem to be quite durable in the week or so that I have used them. The sleeve that it comes in is also very protective and easy to carry around with its strap.My only complaint was that when I opened the second bottle, the o-ring seal was glued to the bottle and not the cap. I carefully peeled it off and relocated it to the lid. I have had no problems since then.Updated: 10 days later, 1/2 bottles broke. The interior glass broke. So, I'm feeling like I should have just bought a case of water.

Not very insulative. Coffee stayed warm for less than an hour. Neoprene sleeve is annoying and the stitching quickly tore a hole in the sleeve during normal use. The entire package looks very nice, but the lid seemed pretty cheap and started falling apart after dropping it in the sink while washing.

had to return it because it broke right away before I could actually use it once -- two stars because return was seamless. you might want to try an unlined (non-plastic) stainless steel metal vacuum thermos, unless you're majorly careful with glass and you HAVE to have it.

Not a big fan of the smell when I'm drinking the water. Probably needs a good scrub. Other than that I love it. Very appealing and sleek. MAKE SURE WHEN ADDING ICE THERE IS WATER IN THE GLASS FIRST! If not the inside glass of the Botel will explode and shatter....trust me I know :/
