I do like the recording capabilities and that it has a wide angle lens. It sure looks like a smoke detector, and it has great battery life. I like that you don't need batteries! Limitations do exist, though, so I'll be adding a second hidden camera somewhere else (recently burglarized).I wouldn't recommend putting it on a ceiling, because what you can see is limited. The night vision is pink, weird? The only other thing about it is that there is a bit of a delay with the motion sensor setup.

There is no night vision and the app does not allow it to record a short 10-60 seconds clip of the event to the SD Card if motion os detected. It does however have audio so you can hear whats going on but you the person by the camera cannot hear you. So its only one way audio. The battery lasts forever which is amazing and I can easily push record from my phone at work. The motion detection is super awesome too!!! I gave it 3 stars because there is no night vision, no two way audio and it the description said it records when motion is detected which is false. The app needs to have more features for me to give it a 5 star review as it is was pretty pricey to purchase!

It is a great camera for what I need.It is not super obvious, looks like a smoke detector.I agree with someone posting this before that it is not smart idea to put it on the ceiling because of limited view. Although, if you put it on the eye level it maybe little weird since it is a "smoke detector" and usually those are on the ceiling. You definitely need to play with the app to find best location for it.For me works really good. Battery is also good. I am happy from my purchase.

This product may seem to have a big price tag but completely worth it. Night vision is great, camera quality is definitely there. Audio isnt bad either. But the best thing atleast for me would be the battery life. I have charged it once and it lasted 2 weeks it could have lasted longer but I saw the battery getting low and as a security camera I would prefer it not to die. But the fact that I dont have to think about it for weeks at a time is really the big take away. Easy to install just 3 screws and your ready.

don't buy. I didn't realize that I had to get a ladder climb to charge it up every day.
