I have a toy hauler rv and the original gasket was leaking. This is a totally different profile than the original but I took my time and cleaned all the old gasket off. It stuck on quite well and voila no more leaks. 👍

The "3M" stick stuff on the back (not sure if it is actually 3M or not) sticks to metal, but won't stick to wood and some other surfaces. However, the seal itself seems adequate quality. The price is right.The product is sold for cars, and it probably sticks and works fine in automotive applications.

I have a Kit Car that requires you find it parts because no one has the complete part list, its a Fiero GT frame and engine with the 1986 Lamborghini Countach kit, so I am piecing the door seals, and lining seals for the trunk and hood, so far Amazon has everything I needed.

While the product itself is probably great, the way it was packaged at delivery was terrible. It was stuffed into a small zipper bag so it was really kinked and the strip protecting the adhesive was bubbled and separated throughout, which compromises the adhesion at application making large sections unusable. Package it correctly, ant it’s probably a five star product.

to replace boat door hatch seal seems to be good quality seal, also used to replace on front windshield center opening on bottom, will have to see how long it lasts.

so was having issues get my old weather stripping to seal... got this stuff and put a backing on my old car weather stripping. and and... yep.. did the trick. love the tape and go. sticks good and I don't have wind coming through my drivers side door anymore.

Junk, arrived in a bag all knotted up, some of the adhesive backing was peeled off and the whole thing was stuck to itself. Totally unusable as it is kinked in many spots from packaging and wouldn't seal if installed. If I could give it a lower rating I would. Doesn't look anything like the photo, the adhesive is only about a 1/4" wide and I question weather it is actually a 3M as it does say 3M on it but it isn't the actual 3M brand logo. You get what you pay for.

Got this to make the wind noise more manageable in my Mazda3 and it did not disappoint. I bought a similar, if not completely identical, item on Amazon, but unfortunately it ran OOS. Took a chance with this and it's the exact same material (but unfortunately with the exact same smell).To make this work well, make sure to press and hold AND also use a heat gun or hairdryer to help seal. Also, I would let it air out from the packaging for a couple days due to the horrid factory plastic/rubber smell. Overall, a great weatherstrip!

This product is listed as having a 3M adhesive backing. This is certainly not true. It has a red backing to look like 3M, but it is not.The adhesive backing on th back is quite poor and does not hold well like you would expect from 3M. I do not recommend this product.
