This product works but here's some advice
Disclaimer: I'm just an average guy, certainly not a doctor, and these are just my opinions..First of all this company makes two types of this product; there's the regular version and this micro version.Whether you need this one or the regular version totally depends on the thickness of your skin tag. Because there wasn't a lot of advice on this I made the mistake of buying the regular version first. Turns out my skin tags were too thin and the rubber band would just fall off so it was useless. My advice is that if your skin tag is just a flap of skin with very little thickness to it you would need the micro version. I would guess that if you took apart a cheap pen and the plastic ink insert was at least as thick as your skin tag (at least 2mm around) then you'd want to get the regular version of this product. Don't fault me if I'm off a bit though since that's just a guess since the rubber bands from the regular version fell off my skin tag.Secondly, I read all of the reviews and they said your skin tag would fall off within a week. In my case I had a few skin tags under my arm pit (sorry if that grosses you out, it does me too). They greatly annoyed me and would sometimes get irritated and be painful, which is why I wanted them gone. My experience was that I would put the rubber band on using this product, which is quite ingenious. Within a few hours, or at least by the next day, the skin tag would turn a darker color since it was losing its supply of blood. Within a few days to a week it would dry up, become much smaller and hard to the touch. Mine never did fall off though but maybe that's because I was too impatient. After a little over a week I would just give them a quick yank and they'd come right off.The third point I want to make is that this method can cause some irritation/pain in and around the skin tag. In my case, because of them being under my arm pit, the rubber band would get pulled every which way, aggravating the skin under and around the outside of the skin tag. After a few days, after the skin tag gets hard, you could sit in a hot tub which seems to loosen up the rubber band enough to be pulled off. The other solution I found and liked best was to use Kanka, the oral anesthetic. I'd dab that around the painful skin tag a bit and it would totally take away the pain and irritation for several hours.Lastly I want to state that this product does exactly what it claims to do. My skin tags are gone and I didn't have to go to the doctor to have them removed. Even having bought both products, I'm still out only about $50 which I think is well worth getting rid of these annoying things. As far as the pain/irritation caused by this product; I didn't mind it since my skin tags could get irritated/painful at times even without this product.I only gave it fours stars because the company could give better direction as to whether a person needs the regular version or the micro version. They could also let you know that there could be some irritation or slight pain using this product. If the company is reading this then thank you for making this great product!Sorry for the long review but I hope this helps someone and good luck!

It works!!
1 YEAR LATER...UPDATE!I thought I'd come back and update this review when I was cleaning out my medicine cabinet and realized I still had this product on hand. I've never had to use it again, because the skin tag on my neck has never come back!I'm very pleased with the results - there is an almost invisible scar on my neck where the skin tag had been for over 40 years, but there is no sign of it ever growing back - and if it hasn't grown back in a year's time, I don't really expect to ever come back at all.------------------------3-WEEK UPDATE:Several weeks later, and no sign of the tag growing back. There is a very small, slightly raised bit of skin where the tag was, but no sign of it getting larger, and it's faded into my normal skin color, so the scar isn't even noticeable. Very pleased.I'm seeing a lot of negative reviews saying the bands are too large for small skin tags or that this system doesn't work. It *does* work - but it says right on the instructions that this may not work for very small skin tags. For those, you need to go to a dermatologist or take them off yourself (you assume the risk there...) - but this system does work for small-to-medium size tags - just not the REALLY small ones. The tag has to be large enough for the band to grab and hold onto, or it will just fall off. I tried it with a very small, flat skin tag under my arm - it fell off within 24 hrs and I didn't try again, because I knew it wouldn't work.I waited until I finished the entire process of tag removal to write this review, because I wanted to be sure it worked.------------------------I have had a fairly large skin tag on the back of my neck, just below my hairline (I wear my hair short) for decades - and I've always hated it and been self-conscious about it. As I've gotten older, the darn thing has only gotten bigger, until it was about the length of a pencil eraser and about half as wide. Definitely noticeable to others and annoying. It would get caught on clothing, I'd hit it with my hairbrush, and it was always in danger of being snipped by my hair stylist. The only good thing about it was that I could tell my hair stylist to use it as a guideline for how long my hair should be.I'd been told to go have it removed by a dermatologist if I wanted it taken off, and also to put cider vinegar on a cottonball and keep it on the skin tag with a bandage until it fell off. Nothing like drawing even MORE attention to it with a lumpy bandage! So I didn't follow that advice.Found this device here on Amazon and decided to give it a shot - the concept seemed simple enough - the band cuts off blood supply until it falls off.First attempt was on 4/21/19 - I had someone put the band on for me because it's at the back of my neck. First attempt at that failed and the band went flying God knows where in the house. (Small enough the vacuum probably sucked it up the next day.) Second attempt was a success and the band went on. Surprisingly painless, too! I thought for sure it would be uncomfortable.Three days later, as the skin tag was in the process of turning black, shrinking and dying, the band came off. The skin tag had dried and shriveled up enough that it just got too small for the band to stay on. I was frustrated, thinking now I had this black skin tag that I'd be stuck with. But I decided to try one more time. The second band went on the skin tag 3 days after the first one did, and it held this time.Day 7: the skin tag is gone!!! I was doing the dance of joy when I realized it wasn't there anymore!!It had become somewhat sore and red around the base of the tag, and I was beginning to think this 2nd attempt was going to fail like the 1st one did. Checked it this morning when I got in the shower - definitely smaller, harder, and black, like it was dead - but just barely sticking out above the band itself - so I was thinking it was going to do the same thing as before - the band would just fall off and the tag would still be there. Got in the shower, did the usual, didn't scrub at that area or anything, because it was sore. Got out and reached up to feel where the tag was....NO TAG!! WAHOOO! I didn't even feel it come off. There is a small red spot where the tag was, that is slightly swollen and a bit sore, but I'm sure that will go down in the next few days and all that will be left is a small scar. I'll take it!

This actually works!
I've tried another product that freezes on the skin tag with moderate success. And I bought this product with some skepticism but I really wanted to get rid of these skin tags. So I was pleasantly surprised when it worked like a charm.Likes:1. It's a good value for the money. This is, in my experience, a very inexpensive method to remove skin tags.2. It is easy to use. I followed the instructions to the letter and was able to apply the rubber band to the skin tag.3. The skin tag fell off in about a week. Yay!4. The rubber bands are somewhat clear so they aren't very visible...no more visible than the skin tag itself.Dislikes:1. While I didn't find the rubber band uncomfortable, there were times when it bumped against something and I could feel it. But it really didn't hurt...just a small sensation.Bottom line:This product is a winner. As I indicated above, I was skeptical that this would work, but it does! I recommend it.

Es ist richtig befremdlich da jetzt anzufassen. Wie ein neues Lebensgefühl.Angegeben ist ja für kleine bis mittelgroße, ich benötige jedoch nun noch eins für Mittel bis große.

I'm really impressed! Thanks TagBand!
I wasn't sure if this would work on my mole/tag but it looked less intimidating than other options so I decided to try. Because of its shape and position on my chest this mole frequently got caught on clothing/hair/nails and was constantly irritated. The tube fit perfectly over the wide part of the tag so the band sat perfectly on the thinner area. I was a little scared it would 'snap' when I slide the band over the end of the tube against my skin and feel like a pinch- but was relieved that it did not! I couldn't feel it at all. The tag started turning bluish after only a few minutes and was entirely black a half hour later. I didn't cover it while the band was on and did catch it a few times + fell asleep on it which made the skin directly under the band a little red and sore- but otherwise it wasn't painful. I could have covered it with a large gauze square to prevent that but I think a normal bandage would have pressed it against my skin and caused the same irritation. It stayed black and by the third day the skin of the tag started looking dehydrated and slowly shrunk down further and got more wrinkly. After 7 days it was about half its original size and resembled a micro raisin. I thought maybe because it wasn't a normal skin tag it wouldn't come off the same and might need intervention, but decided to leave it alone and wait. On day 9 as I was getting into bed I noticed it was missing. There was a small red area and a tiny bit of fluid in the center that washed away with warm water. The skin was dried and a little flaky but it wasn't a scab and is healing quickly- it's been three days and is almost unnoticeable, just a little peeling skin.I didn't realize just how annoying that tag was until it was gone! Not being aware of it all the time is a really noticeable relief. I even ordered a lace bra because I don't have to worry about painful snagging anymore! I would have done this much sooner if I knew how easy it was! I'm going to keep the extra bands around and never have to put up with tags again! I'd definitely recommend this product. It's simple, painless and took almost no effort. The cost of the product feels like nothing for the benefits!*I'm not sure why "sheerness" and "thickness" are part of the review categories- it was a shriveled black mole so not really appealing to look at anyways. Opacity of the band seems irrelevant. The size was correct for the specific tag I bought them for. There are other sizes available.

A cautionary tale
Having used the larger size of device very successfully on my husband, I decided to get rid of a skin tag on my neck using the smaller device. The band popped onto the tag very successfully and all was well for a few days apart from a slight stinging which I had expected. Unfortunately I fiddled with it and the area became swollen and red with a little bit of pus. After nine days it looked as if my skin was trying to heal up over the band, so I had to pull the band off with a pair of tweezers leaving a little round raw patch the size of the band. Hopefully it will now heal up well, but my experience is that the bands work, but you have to try not to interfere with them in the meantime, especially if, like me you can't use a plaster.

Doctor's Orders
I’ve never bothered too much about my skin tags till now, but one was annoying me so I decided to look into how to get rid of them.I started by trying Australian Tea Tree Oil, but that did nothing for me.Next, I visited my doctor, who checked that they were actually just skin-tags, and nothing to worry about. The NHS don’t do skin tag removal anymore, but the doctor advised me to tie cotton thread tightly around the tags in order to cut off the blood supply, and said the tags should drop off in about 4 days. I tried this method but found it extremely difficult to tie the thread properly, and the result was that I removed only part of the skin tag.I then went on to try the skin tag removal kit, which presumably operates on exactly the same basis as what the doctor was suggesting. I found it very easy to attach the tag correctly, and it all worked perfectly. I have already started the removal of a second tag, which is going well, and I will continue to use this.Based on my own experience, I would recommend trying this method. The device is simple, but brilliant in its own way, and I didn’t experience any pain whatsoever. It would seem that the kit is suitable for most skin tags, though there is an alternative version for very large tags which are too big to fit in this kit.It is worth noting that there are videos on You-tube, including at least one video by the manufacturer, and these will provide useful and reassuring guidance on the product.
