ActivaPlus Clay Natural Self-Hardening Clay Black 2.2 pounds - 62-02

This is wonderful clay. Had purchased different colors from different brands thinking there wouldn’t be a difference. Boy was I wrong. This will be the only one I order again.

I found this black clay very easy to work with. Also, it is natural so that was important to me. A little hard to start with but it was kept in the cold so that is probably why. I was using it with a cutter and it was smooth sailing.

Easy to use, but does shrink quite a bit. Try the other posted tips such as covering with a moist towel when letting your work sit.

Fast delivery, the Item was just as described.

As you can see, gnomes looked great. 5 hours later - disaster! The black ACTIVA clay cracked and fell off cones.

I am addicted to this clay in my studio but honestly I don't know why because no matter how slowly I dry it it ALWAYS cracks everywhere and is seriously incredibly brittle. IDK why they claim this is "air hardening" clay because sure it hardens but then it breaks. Recommend firing this clay if possible, but like I said, I am addicted to it and use it for everything because I like the way it looks.

Una buena masilla con múltiples usos pero como todas las masillas de este tipo es poco resistente para esculturas grandes y tarda demasiado en sacar si son muy gruesas fuera de eso muy buena

So far I’ve made a cartoon figurine and a bowl to hold my crystals, and they have both held up very well. 👍🏾

Se krakens en el secado pero es muy fácil de moldear
