Great product
These are perfect for removing/replacing exhaust manifold studs. Studs being used have flat portion between threads. This is a perfect spot for tool to grab onto and run in using a 3/4 “ wrench and a 3/8” ratchet.

Works great!
I used these first to replace remove the studs, then replaces them on a Subaru turbo out of a 2006 Outback XT. They works fast and easy and didn’t chew up the studs in the process. I wish I had bought these years ago. So much easier than other stud tools. It did have issues with a chewed up stud that was missing half of its threads. Not a big surprise. My other stud remover wouldn’t touch it either.

When the two nut method does not work, this is an absolute game changer. 10/10 can’t recommend enough

Works, but ruins the stud threads
Worked great on some very stuck differential studs on my 2007 Tundra. Unfortunately the tool completely destroyed the threads on the studs during removal. I highly recommend buying and using new studs instead of trying to re-thread any studs you remove. Having to buy new studs delayed my project by a few days while I waited for new ones from Toyota. Also, ensure you keep good pressure on the tool or it can slip and make the stud even harder to remove. I busted my knuckles pretty good when this thing slipped. Either way, it got the job done, but it wasn’t pretty.

Better than the add!!!
This product is one of the best products for the money. It removed those studs out of my engine just like they said they would. One of the best things about them is that the bearings are replaceable, and they are easy to repair(if the bearings should fall out) One of the bearings fell out of mine, and I thought it was broken, but the ring clamps made it easy to replace them. Thank you "GearWrench" for such a wonderful product. And once again. Thank you, Amazon!! You guys Rock!!

Falling apart out of the box
These seem like decent sockets. Not the best, not the worst. 3 of the sockets arrived with the snap rings partially installed. If you have ever removed a snap ring, you know this can be dangerous as the like to shoot out at high speed. This also means low quality control in my opinion. Only time will tell if these will last. One of the sockets arrived with the roller which had fallen out. It's an easy fix but inconvenient
