BostikDimension Urethane Based Grout (18lbs, 680 Onyx)

As a GC i have used this product dozens of times. This time i used it for my own home and i am more than happy with the results. This is def not for beginner use. Urethane grout is easy to apply. Other reviews claim that it is hard to use and clean. If you use a plastic putty knife u will find it much easier to hold the grout in place. Also do as the instructions say and prewet the tiles with soapy water. Once applied in a 2’ x 2’ area, quickly wipe off the excess with a grout sponge. If you find it hard to rub off the excess on any tiles, let it dry and cure completely then take a glass scraper to the area needed. Takes a bit of elbow grease but if you are shelling out for this type of grout, then you should put in the extra work anyway to make it nice and clean! If i can figure out how to attsch oics i will show just how nice it looks. The color we purchased for our home is Palm wood. Looks almost rose gold in person.

This is great grout. I'm not an expert on grout, but using this product for a kitchen backsplash made the really easy for a couple of first time DIY tilers get the job done painlessly.. This grout was suggested by the company we boughtt the tile from as a good color match for our tile and it turned out to be an excellent choice. We were looking for something that would sort of blend into the background and let the tile stand on its own rather than a color that would stand out. It is a light gray and has little flecks of glass in it. It just has a really unique look to it, while sort of receding to the background and letting the tile be the star of the show. It has a good consistency, goes on really smooth and easily. It has a low odor (but is not even as strong as a paint odor). I am very sensititve to chemical fumes and this did not give me a headache after working with it for a few hours. We were also interested in this product because it is a polyurethane based grout so it should not mold or crack (we are using it in a seasonal house). It's very expensive for grout but worth the money IMO.

This material is relatively easy to use particularly when trying to grout around a lot of small stones or I assume small tiles, such as one would need to put down on a shower floor as I did. I used it around stones with a somewhat porous surface and if I had used regular grout it would have filled in the small imperfections in the stones which I did not want to do, therefore I give this material high marks for its ability to allow the stones to appear more natural. Also the cleanup was easy compared to the cloudy grout that would have otherwise occurred. On my shower walls I used regular grout on the large tiles but the diamond grout on the floor is a perfect blend. I also give it high marks because the surface it leaves on and between the stones is not slippery when wet therefore it gives a shower floor a good safety grip but not an unpleasant one on your feet. It is rather like a very fine sandpaper. The only reason I gave it one less star is because of the cost.

I used the Bostick Dimension Grout in Diamond in our master bath. We did 5/8 x 5/8 glass mosaic tiles on two entire walls and a backsplash. The Bostick grout absolutely made the project and I'm so glad we splurged on it. The only downside was it took much more product than Bostick recommended and we had to put the project on hold because it was back-ordered. It took a while to get the technique because it is thinner than traditional grout. I followed Bostick's instructions start to finish (including using Blaze to clean it) and it's done all Bostick said it would. Highly recommended!

It’s beautiful when done but is hard to use without getting everything sparkly and it’s a little sticky so it sticks to what you are applying it with and sometimes on a vertical surface it was hard to get to stay without getting it everywhere

After trial and error with other grout, this grout was perfect with our unique aluminum sphere tile. Very easy to apply. Exact look I was going for.

It is thick and gets thicker as you work. My grout estimate suggested 9 lbs. I bought 18 lbs to use on glass tile back splash and another tile project. I used the entire 18 lbs on the back splash. It wasn't difficult to use this product. It looks great, but I wouldn't use this grout again. It is far too expensive for the results obtained. Looks like white grout with a sparkle.

Beautiful product. More expensive but I bought for long term value in master bath shower. I live in balmy South Florida and this is perfect for easy cleanup and mold resistant for years to come. This site has some of the best customer service I have ever experienced . They even sent me a product, for free, thanking me for the business.
