Lecxci Men's Real Leather 1 1/2" Wide Casual Jean Bridle Belt with Metal Buckle

(This review is for the brown version.)Upfront note - if the smallest size is too large for you, don't worry. It is designed to be cut to a shorter length, just like I had to do.I won't call myself a belt connoisseur, but I've certainly bought a few in the past. Every belt that I now own and use, around five, is leather. In my opinion, this belt handily beats out the two Tommy Hilfiger belts that I've purchased most recently - and it is honestly the most comfortable belt that I can remember ever owning.I might think it's so comfortable because the leather is very supple. Some belts that I've purchased have been pretty stiff and take a while to break in. This one is incredibly flexible. I can't express enough how nice it is to have a quality leather belt that is so easy to move around. Not only is it easy to put on, but that flexibility allows it to move better once on, and I don't feel it pinching into my waist like some other stiffer belts can. That's not to say that it's cheap or weak, though - not by any means. This is a nice leather belt, and it smells the part. I take note when something claims to be something but comes across as a cheap imitation, and this is not that.I was most interested in this because it claims to be trim-to-fit. I'm here to tell you - it is. The bolt holding the leather strap down around the buckle is actually a screw that you can take out. The belt on that side is a straight cut, so you can cut it down to whatever length you want. The belt comes with a hole punch (a nice stainless steel one) to create a new hole for the screw to go through once you've trimmed it and are ready to connect the buckle again.The buckle itself is nice, too. I tend to like buckles with the rolling cylinder on one end (I just like that style), but for a regular flat buckle - this one is well made, and the coloring of it matches very well with the brown leather.Not related to the belt, but more to it being a gift possibility, is that it came in a surprisingly nice box. Shockingly nice, actually. It's the best packaged belt that I've ever gotten. Most come coiled up free in the shipping bag or in their own plastic bag, but this one is truly worthy of a gift presentation. I know that means nothing if you're getting it for yourself :), but I still appreciated it even though I'm the one using it.Only time will tell if this will hold up in that area that constantly gets stressed near the buckle as I secured it in the belt hole, as that area tends to cause my other leather belts to split or get pretty weak. Regardless, for how comfortable this belt is, I'll definitely keep it in mind if I need another one. At the current $22 price, it's no more expensive than the other belts that I've purchased over the years.(I received a free sample for an evaluation and honest review.)

I like the looks of the belt but it could be better made. The rectangular leather insert on the buckle fell off after a couple of uses. I glued it back with a better quality glue. The leather loop is not secured to the belt and falls off if I don't hang it correctly. I've already used the leather punch to shorten the belt a tad. Nice addition to the product.July 13, 2016 update: Lecxci, the vendor who sells this belt, contacted me after reading the above comment, to let me know that he wanted to make it up to me for the problems I described above with the belt. After a few false starts, I was able to order a 2nd belt free of charge using a promo code provided by Lecxci. I have not received the belt yet but I'm sure I will. So clearly this vendor stands behind his products. I am totall satisfied with this transaction and would not hesitate to do business with Lecxci again. Number of stars changed from 3 to 4.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a really nice belt, and the brown belt has an excellent color. I liked the buckle. It almost looks it's injected molded, but it's a kind of metal. There is a screw to hold the buckle on, but I really think it's just for decoration. I don't think you'd be able to change the belt buckle. It's as very professional-looking belt, and so you'll be able to use it in any situation, from an everyday belt to wear with jeans to wearing with your fanciest suit.I'm a 36 waist, and I got the 38. It just barely fit me, but did fit on the last hole. I should have read the sizing chart and ordered the 40 or the 42.This comes in both brown and black versions, and I'm reviewing the brown version. I liked this one the best. It's also a very comfortable belt.

This is a descent belt that I may get a little time out of. The material seems of good quality. I had some childhood flashbacks when I first got this belt because it's kind of old school and reminded me of the belt I used to get whoopings with by my father growing up lol but that's just my personal experience, this is still a nice belt. I'm glad it came with the hole punch tool which came in handy as the belt was a bit big for me.My only gripe is that it's a bit wide. Therefore, certain pants that I wear, it goes a little snug in the loops but other ones I have with wider loops, it fits perfectly. I wouldn't say that this issue is big enough to say stay away but if you have a lot of pants with smaller loops, you might want to take that into consideration.

My father-n-law needed a belt and it's hard for him to go out and get one so he asked me to find him a belt. He measured his last belt and gave me the measurement. After looking around the mall and not finding the type of belt he wanted, went to my main go to place and found this one. It arrived in a cardboard box that looked like a little drawer in a light weight fabric bag-and would have made a great gift box. It looks as wonderful as the picture and he loves it. Needed to add a few holes as it was a bit longer than he needed. He wears it every day.

The belt is ok, but I was expecting it to be REAL leather, through and through. This feels like all the other "leather" belts that just have leather siding, and some cardboard/other-material on the inside. I won't know until it breaks, but I tend to go through belts yearly. The next time I am in Mexico I will pick up a few from real leather craftsmen.

Great leather, comes true to fit, plus comes with a hole punch just in case, thinking in retrospect I could of gotten away with ordering a bit larger, but it does come very true to size.

Belt came today as promised. Very nice box and liner packing. Belt fit perfectly seems to be excellent quality extremely happy with this they go buy another one in black
