Panasonic Ramdash 3-Blade Shaver Shaving Sensor ES-ST29-A Blue

Nice looking, arrived promptly, works well - once I figured it out ... it arrived with a manual (only) written in Japanese.Contacted seller, they were sympathetic and sent link to similar model manual in English.

The model that I purchased was the ES-ST29-A (The -A suffix signifies 'Aoi' -meaning blue in Japanese).This model is built in the tradition of many Panasonic shavers before it, and has a similar assembly and mechanism. MADE IN JAPAN.Contains the famous two block and foil shave arrangements similar to many of the more expensive models. Shave is sharp and close. Head and foil disassemble easily for cleaning. The protective cover that protects the shaving foil has small protruding feet molded into it that lets the shaver stand vertically on a bench top. (foil down with cover on)... Innovative.Panasonic replacement inner blades are Part No. ES9068, and Outer foil Part No. ES9087.- The Shaving head is fixed arrangement (does not pivot), but this is not really necessary to operate this shaver successfully as the head angles and geometry have been carefully worked out in the design- Contains a switch lock position for safety when travelling or when left near children. As the unit does not ship with a pouch the lock switch is helpful if travelling. (Model ES-ST39-A does have a pouch, but otherwise seems the same).- Moulding is a high quality plastic moulding - black plastic and a glossy blue plastic (ABS?).- Contains a Li Ion rechargable cell (marked 3.6V).- The shaver is assembled with screws, although they are covered with plugs to maintain the visual appearance. The manual has an exploded parts diagram showing parts and how the unit is constructed.- The charger is multi-voltage from 100V to 240V AC with a two pin Japanese/USA style power pins. (Charger is made in China and appears to be high quality and custom built for Panasonic).- Other accessories that were packaged with the shaver are an Charging stand (model RC9-84), instruction booklet (Japanese), small brush and small bottle of oil.- The charging stand stands upright to charge the shaver. Power pack plug connects to base and there are two contacts on the upper inner sides of the charger that perfectly match with round pins on each side of the shaver. The arrangement is well engineered and solid standing. A small hole is evident (approx 3mm diameter) in the base that you could potentially position on a pin if you required greater stability.The item that I purchased is MADE IN JAPAN, and is primarily intended for sale in the Japanese domestic market, where competition for shavers is fierce.Overall an excellent shaver for the price. Recommended.

以前使っていて切れ味、持ちやすさ等十分満足のいく製品なのだがいかんせん充電池が１～２年でダメになる。いままで5台買い替えた結論としてはもったいないが替刃を購入するより本体ごと使い捨てとして、モデルチェンジ前の価格が下がった時に購入するのがベストである。

10年以上ブラウンを使用していましたが、ここにきて髭剃り時に肌を何度も痛めラムダッシュに変えてみようと思い購入しました。こちらはブラウンと異なり、髭剃り時に超甲高い音が気になります。また、なんとなくブラウンの方が深剃りしているように思います。充電切れ時の、髭が挟まった時が、髭剃りで一番嫌いです。こちらは充電オンリーなので、そこが特に気になりました。ブラウンの髭剃りをもう一度よく見たら、外刃が一部切れている事が分かりましたので、外刃と内刃を取り替えたところ、今までと同様の切れ味となりましたので、この商品は一回しか使用していませんが、サブ機となりました。自分の視力の劣化（老化）が原因で、この商品を購入してしまいました。近くの量販店では11,700円もしますが、amazon経由では、6,980円と大変安く購入できたのがせめてもの救いです。以上

とても長持ちだが、内刄を支えるプラスチック部品が細く折れ易い。

値段の割にはいいですね写真よりシックな青で落ち着きがあります。首振りがないのが気になりましたかいざ使ってみると気になりません。ブラウン700シリーズを長年使ってきましたが音も静かです。静かなので髭を剃る音が良く聞こえ剃り残しの有無がよく分かります。最新の2Nの赤が欲しかったのですが少々値段差があったので旧型のこちらにしました違いは正直分からないためこちらで充分です。ちなみに、髭は比較的多めでクセがあります

剃りの深さ的にはまあまあだと思います。シェービングを塗って使用した方がよいですね。面倒くさいので結婚式などの大切な日にしか塗りませんが。そのまま洗える、持ちやすいなどの最低限のニーズは見たしています。
