With the Fisher-Price SpaceSaver High Chair, you get everything you love from a full-size high chair but in a portable size that fits easily on most dining and restaurant chairs! It has two height adjustments, four tummy adjustments, and three recline positions to keep your baby comfortable, and you can transform it into a toddler booster when your tiny diner is ready. And, keeping this high chair clean is super easy, too! The deep-dish design helps keep your little one from pushing food off the tray, and the spill-resistant seat pad and harness are machine washable. Plus, the seat, tray and bonus tray insert are all dishwasher safe, so cleanup is a snap (literally)!

Very Good for Low Tone Baby
I bought this for my 9 month old grandson who is low tone and has difficulty holding his head up and sitting up straight. Even at its most upright position, it still leans back a bit and keeps him from bobbing his head forward. There is room to stuff a small towel in the side to keep him from tipping sideways. I like that there is hard plastic between the legs so he does not slide down when putting on the tray or during feeding. I even have him play in the chair sometimes. The chair is secure when strapped to a standard dining/kitchen chair. All that said, I feel that he is safe in it. The one annoying thing is that it is quite hard to raise the chair to a higher level. I had to watch a few online videos to figure that out. Since I don't use that feature it is not a big deal for me. The other features are more important.

Easy to assemble
I actually liked this high chair. It saves you so much space! It’s super easy to take with you in the car. You can spot clean and it easily comes off. Would recommend if your trying to save space in your home or apartment.

Design Flaws & Safety Concerns
So I should start by saying my review is well over six months in the making and I have used these chairs daily since purchasing them (2) used like new on Amazon for an amazing deal.Update:Less than a week after I posted my original review, one of my sons were eating dinner and disengaged one of the tray clips partially and pinched his fingers pretty good.I was actively feeding him and his brother at the time of the pinch, (sitting right in front of both high chairs) and my husband, my mother, and myself didn't realize his finger were caught right away. He was eating as normal when all of a sudden he took a huge gasp; inhaled some food and started to cough and cry. I assumed he had some food down the wrong pipe, and started the small child inhaling food protocols: finger swipe, back pats, and finally removing him from his chair to help calm him down. It was only when I went to remove the tray that I realized two of his fingers were caught! He ended up with a large welt on one finger that ultimately ended up bruising, and though his injuries were minor, I can not recommend anyone purchase this highchair. As I said in my original review, (posted below) the tray clips on either side are too easily engaged; and that makes these chairs not just a nuisance but in my opinion, unsafe. I already felt uneasy about walking the six feet from my boys to the kitchen sink, when they are sitting in these chairs, but now I also consider the real possibility of finger pinches even when I'm sitting right there... I don't think I will even donate these chairs because I would worry someone else could have the same issues we have had or worse. Super dissapointing.Original review:The chairs have good points to them:They were great for my boys when they were still only recieving spoon food. They have a secure seat belt harness and a high seat back that supports unstable new eaters. Plus the removable tray insert makes for quick clean up during the early days of learning to eat. The colors are vibrant and fun and the covers wash and wear nicely (if you continue to use them). Also, the tray is HUGE! It also has cubbies on the side and a cupholder. Finally, the price sold me on these; they were almost 50% off when I purchased them (used) and they came in perfect condition. But now for the down side:Most of the issues I have with these chairs seemed to arise as my boys got more independent in their feeding and more coordinated in their efforts to totally drive me nuts! First off, I have had a few safety concerns regarding these chairs that I feel I should share. These chairs are really difficult to keep secure and wobble free on my lightly padded dining room chairs. The shape of the bases seems to make the chairs more wobbly and because they wobble the straps loosen over time. Also, the base is rounded at the back so there is no way to get them flush with my dinning room chair's seat backs. This was never an issue with my previous highchairs and they were even stable when placed directly on the floor, something these highchairs could never do because of their pedestal base design.Secondly, the tray is secured with two pull handles (one on either side) that are too easy to disengage. We have had some near falls and huge spills when the handle have been pulled by one of my boys simultaneously as him leaning forward in his seat. This has only happened twice, and luckily I was right in front of him when it did; but once was enough for me to feel uneasy about walking away from the boys in these seats. Now for my real day to day issue with these chairs... they come apart! The ginormous tray has a "convenient" to clean insert that becomes a nightmare the first time your child realizes they can remove their entire meal in one quick flip. So you end up using the actual tray itself (insert free) and have to wash this cumbersome nightmare full of nooks and crannies several times a day. The seat covers are really cute but they are not secured enough to the seats so curious little hands tug and pull at their clips and flaps, getting them filthy (again, never an issue with my previous high chair). So you remove the cover to save time and effort in your day, the plastic is easy enough to wipe off; but then you realize that the seat back is also removable. Plus, it's so easy to remove, even a baby can do it... and they do. So now I have two stripped down plastic chairs that are wobbly and cumbersome to say the least. All in all I would advise someone to keep looking and not be lured in by a good deal or a cute fabric like I was. My old travel 25 dollar safety first high chairs outperformed these things hands down for day to day usability and overall safety in my opinion.

Not the right one for our baby.
This high chair is very well made and secures nicely in a chair but will not sit the child up straight. Just didn’t work quite right for us.

Useful
The only thing against this booster seat is it doesn't have a straight back. Child always leans back.

Absolutely LOVE this!!
Okay keep in mind I’m a first time mom, so I have three high chairs. First off, I found out my sister bought me one as a present after I bought my first two. I bought a normal standing one and then I bought this one. I purchased this because I wanted a “travel” option. We go to my fiancé’s grandparents out of town a lot and we have a cabin on the river, so we needed a small travel option. THIS IS IT. If you’re looking for something, this is the one! Right here! I freaking love it. It’s very sturdy first off. My son was on the living room floor eating and tried to get out by tipping the high chair. Did not even work. Second, SUPER easy to clean. As a boy mom, he’s definitely messy. This won me over because I can take the seat pad out, wash it while scrubbing the plastic areas down, and it looks brand new. Third, my fiancé travels, so I need things that are fairly easy to assemble in case they arrive and he’s not home to help. This was very very easy to assemble. Please comment if you have questions and are considering ordering this product! Off topic: I’m not one of those review people that reviews for money. THIS IS A REAL REVIEW!!!! So don’t hesitate buying this product. All of my next kids will have one of these!

Safety concern
The chair I received had a safety concern for me. After chair was put together I found the back of the seat would not lock in properly. Each time I lifted the seat (without baby in it) the back came away from the seat. I tried several times to securely lock it in but it would not stay attached. I gave it 1 star because it was what I was looking for but safety is most important to me.

This clean-freak mum loves it!
Having used this chair for 5 months now, I can truly say I love it. It is easy to adjust and attach to your chair - definitely a space saver in a condo - and is very sturdy under a bumptious baby. The tray clicks on and off easily and has a handy removable middle piece that makes cleaning easy. The padding is very stain resistant, I wipe berries and tomatoes right off with a kitchen cloth, and it's easy to remove and toss in the washer, air dries quickly. The straps are extremely strong. And you can't beat the price!

Not a fan
First n foremost...this..thing..shifts. My grandaughter rocks in this..n it moves with her. It doesnt sit solid on ANY padded seats, despite the straps. It doesnt fit under my dining room table and theres no way to adjust the height. And after weeks of trying I STILL cant get the tray to attach to the back.If I could return it, I would. But since I only just started using it , Im sol. Save ur money and buy an actual highchair that adjusts and is hella safer.

Nice chair!
Like the chair. Only 2 complaints. You need both hands to remove the tray which can't be done while holding baby so the tray is never stored in feeding position.Other complaint is that little fingers can get smooshed when trays being taken on or off but that's just something to watch out for.Generally think its a really good chair. Easy to clean fits nicely on my dining room chair
