I bought several pair to verify my experience. These skip words in audiobooks. They drop the first word in each sentence due to a "FEATURE" called a noise gate, or "noise gating". - What it does is go to FULL SILENCE when no signal is detected... then... when an audio signal arrives, they "open up to full volume" just 1 SECOND later. - The result in listening to narration is that the first word after any pause of any length in any audio book, is followed by a missing word (played but silenced by the noise gate)... and the only way to know what that word was... is to shut OFF the headphones, or switch to your phone's onboard speaker, and play the sentence again. It's insane but I'm a big audiobook user... and these phones drop about 6 words per minute listening to a normal novel for me.These are ONLY good for music and I DESPERATELY wish someone had told me the truth about how they function or why I was having such a terrible experience instead of just letting me think I had received a broken pair.There are dozens of pairs that don't have this drawback. Get them instead.

The battery life is over 30 hours, the folding design is fantastic for storing the device when not in use. I could do with an actual volume button that makes sense but it’s not the end of the world. The cords are retractable, which means they get sort of twisty, but that’s just a personal annoyance and easily adjusted. The instructions are clear about taking care with the retraction of the earbuds and they are the best deal I’ve found in a long time. So far, very pleased!I’m very picky about the sound quality of things and these are a great sound and do a good job with noise cancelling. They’re not the high end version of sound quality that you get with Bose, for example. However, they’re a decent sound quality for people like me - those that aren’t willing to pay the Bose price tag. Also, for people like me that want a good bang for their buck - quality for a reasonable cost. These fit my requirements so far and I’m not quick to write reviews for most things.

I Immediately returned this item, I'm comparing this set to a previous neck band style I've owned. After unboxing the unit, I noticed the cheap plastic feel, the buttons are poorly fitted, with loud click's which from previous experiences can indicate a premature fail. I did wear it for a full day, I would say the sound quality is capable, but not dynamic, everything fell flat outside of the middle, I listen to pop which can be demanding of any range. The on/off, is a mechanical switch, meaning it just goes into search mode, instead of shutting down to conserve battery when disconnected. The cord retractors Immediately bound upon first pull, and are very fiddly. the range is very poor, maybe 2 meters, BlueTooth standard is rated up to 10m, which my previous headset allowed me to charge my phone and walk about my entire 2000^2' house. The cheap plastic was sticky against my neck, the form is bulky and flat, I didn't notice anything I couldn't get used to. Lastly Siri can't be summoned from the headset, using a delayed press with the phone button, I work with wet hands all day long sometimes in the rain, which makes my phone screen impossible to use, I use Siri throughout the day, was a deal breaker for me.Update 04/20/2020I just received an email from "Pam", telling me I could keep my product and would receive $15 if I deleted this review. Obviously this was a bot as the first 5 words in my review state I no longer have the item. This promotes bad business, encourages people to write dishonest reviews to be "paid off", also explains why some items have high ratings for bad products.

Great headphones! Packaged great, it was in a nice protective box preventing shipping damage. It has great battery life, ive only charged them once and ive been using them for about 2-4+ hours a day for 5 days. I accidentally left them on over night and i guess they automatically turned off bc when i picked them up they still worked great and my galaxy note 10+ says the battery is still around 90%. The sound cancelation is good and it comes with a few of the different sized rubber earbud tips so it fits well. The sound quality is great for listening to music or podcast/audio books. The plastic housing is nice and strong and the on off swith is nice too, i like the switch more than a button. The neck piece is rubber and flexible so it shouldnt break from normal wear and tear. The microphone works great for calls. The bluetooth range is very good, i dont need my phone in my pocket i can leave my phone in the middle of the house/building im in and go into other rooms and not have any connection issues. The bluetooth connects with my phone faster than any other device i use via Bluetooth and when they connect they vibrate and then say connected and the battery life verbally through the headset. The usb port has a rubber cap on it to keep it clean and dry. The buttons all work, i can adjust volume, answer calls, change songs/chapters. The wire retractor works great and the ear buds stay in the unit for storage very well. I like how if they slip out or get knocked out of my ear they stay on my neck and dont fall to the ground which makes them good for marine activities and riding off road vehicles and motorcycles and such and they fit in my ears with my full face helmet on. I highly advise these. They are hands down the best ive ever owned.
