Best wax ever!
It's hard to find a good way to remove unwanted body hair. Shaving irritates my skin and good razors are expensive. Traditional wax that has to be heated is a pain to prepare, often comes with a bulky wax warmer that you have to store, hurts, and doesn't work well for my hair type. I have very fine body hair, and with traditional wax there is always hair left behind that I have to remove with tweezers. This sugar wax is very effective and removes all of my hair quickly and easily with very minimal pain. I have been waxing my legs for years so they are a bit desensitized, but I can honestly say that I barely felt it when I ripped the first strip. I did one of my arms for comparison since I haven't waxed those in many years, and that was nearly as painless as the leg. The waxy strip can be re-used several times after you rip it off. It is summer where I live, so the wax was fine to use right out of the jar and I didn't even have to heat it up. Cleanup is a breeze since this product is water soluble, unlike traditional wax that has to be removed with oil. I bought the tiny jar just to try it out, and I am very happy with the purchase. I think I will be able to do my whole body several times with the small jar, and when it runs out I will definitely repurchase.

Best wax option
I extremely recommend this product. I have try every hair removal product I could think of shaving, hot wax, painless wax, I even brought the hot wax kit with the waxing mashing and everything in hopes to one save money and find the best way to remove hair from my legs because I have extremely sensitive skin and fast thick growing hair with is the worst combination you can have when I use to shave I couldn’t shave more the once every two weeks because it would cause painful bleeding and my legs didn’t even feel smooth afterwards, then I try wax from the drugstore that you heat up in the microwave and it would remove hair but also a thing layer of my skin with it which would cause scaring and it would defeat the whole purpose, not to mention but it would also be so difficult to remove and messy. Then I finally decided to try to by the professional hot wax beans they work better because since they harden it was an easier mess to clean pluss no wax strips with it was one thing I will always run out of one session. But it was definitely not painless yes after a while you do build up your pain tolerance but it’s definitely not pain free. Then recently I saw a video of every shaving product and noticed this product called cold wax because I’m always looking for a better option I decided to give it a try it arrived in perfect condition with instructions 20 reusable strips and two applicators. I was very very skeptical because again it wasn’t like the hard wax and I know it was going to be a mess cleaning up and I kept having flashbacks of my skin coming off with the soft hot wax and how sometimes the wax wouldn’t even come off with the strip, as I did a small piece on my leg and pulled I was astonished it was the least pain I have ever experience with wax. I did half of my two leg with only only two strips because after you apply and strip you can go on to another section for a second and even third use all this happened with in 20 min. I highly recommend this product. It’s extremely effective with correct use.

Good option for at home waxing
Over the years, I have been waxed many times in many places (in both senses of the word). I've been wanting to have a means of waxing at home for a while now for several reasons. 1) Last time I got my eyebrows shaped/waxed the lady totally butchered my eyebrows, completely ruining the natural shape and leaving an obvious bare spot on each brow which took about 2 months to fill back in (and this was at a nice spa where you would expect a higher skill level) so I'm afraid of something like this happening again. 2) I don't love the attitude that a lot of these waxing professionals seem to have when you are getting your eyebrows done and they start commenting rudely on basically every other area of a face that could possibly be waxed and implying you are an unsightly, hairy beast. You may or may not get convinced to wax one or more of these other areas, which quickly can add up at $5-10 a pop. 3) Because I'm now afraid of a full eyebrow waxing/shaping, I would only want to get the in-between spot waxed and I don't want to pay the full $10-20 for a 10 second, 1-strip job. 4) I've had bikini waxes a few times and absolutely hate the experience. Yes it's painful, but for me the emotional trauma is worse than the physical. I go into a full fledged panic and start tensing up and perspiring at the thought of fully exposing myself to the wax-wielding stranger. After a bit more practice waxing some less sensitive areas, I will probably try to wax my bikini line and then I can avoid the nauseating salon bikini wax forever. If you can relate to any of the above situations, give this a try since it only costs about as much as one professional eyebrow waxing. It's easy to use, no more painful than any other waxing I've had, and there's no judgement! Since it's water soluble, you can wash and reuse the strips and any excess that stays on your skin rinses off easily (unlike the wax at the salon which seems very resistant and requires much scrubbing). I have fairly sensitive skin and have had no more issues with skin irritation than I've had from salon waxings. The reason I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is that it often takes more than one pass to get all the hair; I'm not sure if this is due to the grabbing power of the wax itself or my technique. I would definitely recommend trying this product!

The real stuff
This, to me, is the absolute best wax you will find. I'm of middle eastern descent and have been waxing, as girls in my culture as are wont to do, since a very young age. I'm surprised by all the negative reviews so I wanted to give some advice to try and help (the tips provided on this listing are pretty much spot on): warm this up; the consistency is just too thick otherwise to get a nice, thin layer on. With a thicker wax layer, it's far too easy to "stall" when you attempt to pull the strip off, which leads to a lot of pain and possible bruising, not to mention not taking off a lick of hair. When applying, go with the hair growth but when pulling, pull against the hair growth. So for my shins, I'd apply knee towards foot but pull foot towards knee. There are some areas that do ok with "with the growth" pulling but start with against and experiment later. The WAY you pull is probably the most important part. You gotta keep it low, as if you were scraping that part of your body. There should be very little distance between your hand and your body for the entire time you are ripping off the strip. If you pull the strip off away from your skin (as if you were peeling the strip away), it's likely not going to take much hair off. And like the listing says, do it fast. But keeping your hand parallel with the area the entire time you're pulling is the most important part, even more so than speed. Here are some other tips to help: the area you are waxing should be clean (free from any lotion or deodorant or whatever) and dry. Sometimes if the area is not dry enough, nothing will come off the first try so I immediately do the same area again and everything comes off. They don't recommend doing over the same spot more than once but unless it's your first time waxing, that's rubbish advice. I often go over the same area more than once, especially underarms. You can also use the same strip for a couple "rips" before grabbing your next one. But I would limit that to only a handful of times lest the wax build-up on the strip get too thick. Last tip, the smaller the area you wax in one rip, the less it will hurt. Don't feel like you have to fill the entire strip for each rip. Do a 2x2 in. area, for example, on your legs. It's easier to rip this way too since it's easier to keep your hand steady and close for 2 inches rather than 6-8 in. Oh, and it's gonna hurt but it hurts less and less every time you do it, unless you shave inbetween waxings. Shaving between waxings pretty much resets the long term benefits of waxing: thinner and sparser hair growth and less resiliency to being waxed. I barely have hair on my legs anymore, after all these years of waxing. I've tried every type of wax out there and they are all chemical nastiness that you need more chemicals to remove the residue from your skin. This is the real stuff.

Eh...
I must not be the target audience for this wax, or I'm just really untalented at waxing. I've tried it on my bikini line, legs, and chin. It worked beautifully on my chin, but my bikini line and legs are patchy in the areas I waxed. I've tried different amounts of wax with the same results. It might just be me, so I'm giving the wax a middle rating. It's certainly less frustrating than the hard wax I had been using, but I wish the results had been better. Perhaps I'll ask my fiance for help to hold my skin as taut as I can. Maybe it'll work better then.

Plucking would've been faster and more effective.
This item is so lazy. Quite the waste of time and mullah. The directions say 1/4" hair length for optimal results. Maybe "better wax for optimal results." I'll save you some time here: If you are using this for hairy leg, it's probably optimal. If you're using for face, you are going to go through much frustration. Most people here complain about the mess, but really, if you are a smart person with common sense, this won't be an issue. I mean, the wax responds to water, regardless of the temperature; genius! But they pretty much stopped there with the genius. The biggest problem is the fact that it doesn't work. And unless you are waxing SUPER-thick hair, over a large surface area, it won't work. So... what's the point of the product? I've gotta grow it out, to wax it? Again, GENIUS. This time it would be in Sarcasm font, had it been invented. I purchased it for my eyebrows. I'm not trying to shape them, as I am a man. I simply purchased this in order to prevent uno-brow. I know, right? Ultimately you get TWO tries on sensitive skin like that of your FACE. After two applications your skin goes devil-hue and begins to get irritated. I can't believe I let my brow grow to the 1/4" for this BS. Do yourself a favor: go to a pro, pluck, or use REAL wax. AND do the WORLD a favor, by not supporting a product that pretends to offer to a lazy solution.

GREAT WAX! waxing tips below
I used this on my bikini zone 2 days before I left for the Dominican! Never had any red bumps or any sort of reaction. Cleanup is a breeze.. just soak the strips in water for a bit and rinse off, lay to dry and can reuse! Was it painful...yes.. you are pulling hair from the root... if you think it's not going to hurt then your delusional... but it was only a sting for 2 seconds after each pull... so it's fine and worth the results!! After I was all said and done I did have to use my tweezers to get hairs that just wouldn't come out... but I had to do that when I had a professional sugar wax done so I'd rather do it myself and save my money and awkwardness. WAXING TIPS!! I have only used this on my bikini line but here is a huge tip: Heat the wax for 30 seconds. When applying the wax to the hair/skin, apply it in the OPPOSITE direction of the hair growth, then pull the strip off in the direction of hair growth. So for bikini line, apply wax UP, and pull strip DOWN. I tried it the way the directions say and it pulled about 4 hairs out... then when I tried it the way I just explained... almost all of the hair came out!

Healthy, cost efficient
The most effective wax ever. Removed hair the first time. Easily washes off with water. I bought it because it is one of the healthiest non toxic options. The only downside that you may need to reheat it for longer applications which is not specific to this brand but to any similar wax. Value for money.

Fantastic
I wish it came with wider tongue depressors, but this is a great product with a phenomenal price! I have been waxing/sugaring for over ten years and I can easily say this is going to save me a lot of money. A little goes a long way, and you can keep reusing the sugar wax until its color changes from picking up hairs and dead skin. I also love that they give a good amount of strips which you can wash because it’s sugar so it melts/washes with water ! Highly recommended. Once I spend more time with my process, I’ll be ballsy enough to try my Brazilian haha

Best at-home hair removal method!
This wax is the best at-home method I have used for hair removal! It is easy to use, almost painless and removed every single hair on my legs. I struggled a little bit to reach the backs of my thighs but the product itself is very good. It comes with a wooden spatula (quite small) and fabric sheets that can be washed and re-used. I heated the wax in the microwave for about 20 seconds to get the right consistency. Also, it is really important to apply a very thin layer in the direction of hair growth, push down firmly also in the direction of hair growth and then pull the skin tight and pull AGAINST the direction of hair growth. I exfoliated my legs beforehand with hot water to make sure the hair follicles opened up and the hair-removal was less painful. If the wax does not work for you, it might be because your method is wrong or hair is too short, but for me, it worked really well.
