Energy Speaker Systems 72-21168 RC-LCR Center Speaker (Black) (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

Let me say I am not a engineer or a audio sales person or affiliated with any sound speaker ect products.This speaker is fantastic. Dollar for Dollar I am very please and thrilled with the quailty and power of sound this center channel produces. Rich tones of bass and high quality bells reach out and grab you by the throat saying yes this is what a center channel speaker should be.It has helped stop that annoying game of cranking the volume up to hear lower dialog moments and having to throttel the volume down when an action sequence or commerical comes on quickly blairing through the front L and R channels.You will be impressed that with this speaker it is as close to the person on tv being in the room with you due to the level of richness in tones.The key with this speaker is the high quailty performance and clraity of voice is produces at not only high level for music, but more importantly low volume levels for talking.If your looking to upgarde a system I would recommend just buying a great quality AV reciever like a Pioneer SC-61 or 55 Elite plus this speaker and really just pinch your pennies with some souround speakers.at the very least you will have great TV and movie dialog which we all hate to admit is the vast majority of our listening experience when it come to watching TV.In allot of ways I would campare adding this center channel to driving on a crystal clear day as opposed to a rain storm at night with other center channel speakers you will still reach you destination of hearing sound, but it is allot more pleasent and relaxing a drive. and for under $500 it is money well spent.

Get this before you can't any more. It is an incredible Center Channel speaker. Remember it is a high end Reference quality speaker. As such if you have a high end amplifier you might want to set it to the "Trough" setting as it doesn't need the extra sound modification settings a quality amplifier can deliver. If you don't set it to that your sound may sound mushy making you blame it on the speaker. Also this speaker series has around a 100 hour break end period. You may want to pick up a CD called "Stereophile Test CD 3". Run track 20 "(Stereophile Special Burn in Noise)" on a loop at a mid range loudness setting while you are at work and it will make your speaker exceed your expectations. By the way it does come with a magnetically attached grille.

The RC Series produced excellent speakers especially for the price. These speakers have a great quality construction with solid materials. The sound is quite warm and quite to my liking. Although they are an older discontinued model, I could not say that speakers evolve to the extent that these are "outdated". They are fantastic and provide great range and punch to keep my home theater and home stereo working in fine shape for years to come. Make sure you have a decent receiver to push them

This is a discontinued speaker, but it rocks. I've got it set up with Energy RC-70 front towers. Music, movies, unreal depth and more power than I'd want to tap into. Receiver = Denon AVR-X3600H (2019 model). I'm also running 2 Sony core subs + 6 Sony core bookshelfs (2 atmos front, 2 surround at 90 degrees from listener, 2 surround rear). I've had too much Covid home time to think through and piece this together hahahaha

I have Energy RC-70 front speakers, and wanted to complete my 5.1 setup. An acoustically matching center channel is a MUST! Like the rest of the RC series, this speaker is very good, and at these prices or even double these prices tough to beat.I don't think they make the RC-LCR anymore, so if you have RC series speakers and are holding out, buy now or else it may be too late.

Purchase this Energy speaker for a home theater unit and it provides a decent sound, i don't have a lot to say about the unit other than it does it's job well. I would recommend to anyone wanting a good center speaker at a reasonable price.

Lbought three RC LCR energy speakers an the RC 10 bookshelf speakers from Amazon they all came on time and no damage to any of the speakers I previously had the Polk tsx330t towers the tsx110 bookshelves an the150 center terrible speakers loud bright hot mess that was playing them with a Pioneer Elite SC 79 receiverI also have the pioneer Andrew Jones 52 towers the bookshelves And center great speaker they literally smoke the PoLk The energies are in a whole different league from the Pioneers but the pioneers are good speakers actually great
