Keep warm!
This brick kept the biscuits warm for 40mins in a ceramic bowl wrapped in a towel. Very practical and useful/helpful. Everyone at the table when they reached for a biscuit commented how nice and warm they still were!

Bread warmers
I like them but they're very small

Small and effective.
These are very small (be aware of the measurements) but work well in a bread basket. Knowing how small they were, I bought two for my basket. Happy with purchase.

Getting harder to find
It is getting harder to find some of the classic kitchen staples I remember having in my parents' kitchen. This warmer is small, but does a decent job. No, it won't keep your buns toasty hot for an entire meal, but it definitely keeps them warmer longer. I ordered two, because we use a medium-sized bread basket, but even for a small basket two might be helpful. They cool more quickly than I would like, but I don't know if that speaks of the quality of the terra cotta or the temperature of our house. Either way, they do help keep the rolls warm, and that's what we wanted.

Great for toast and hot rolls
This works very well. I just pop it in the toaster to warm, slice and toast or heat bread as usual, and the tile keeps the bread warm throughout the meal. The 5x3 size fits nicely in either of my bread baskets. I wrap it in a crocheted cotton cloth, put it in the bottom of the basket, and put a large napkin or bread cloth over the top to wrap the bread in. With this, I can have the bread done before it is time to sit down and eat, and not be in the kitchen finishing the bread while everyone else is already at the table.

Im sure it'd be fine for small amounts
I got this for my work. Im sure it'd be fine for small amounts. But it is too small for what we need. We do dinner rolls every Sunday, they are placed in a pan that is 12 inches long, 10 inches wide. We need something that will fit that. We were disappointed it is so small, and in our case, not fit our needs.

Works well, but make sure the size is correct for your basket.
Very simple to use. Just heat the tile as you bake the bread in the oven. Do not microwave the tile.Use tongs to pick up the tile and put it under the bread but inside the cloth you use to wrap the bread.Very simple, and it works for 20 or more minutes--long enough for the bread to disappear. If you have a basket or bread dish that is considerably larger than 3 x 5 inches, buy a larger tile. Amazon has larger round tiles for sale.
