I used this hose regularly for a little over a month, nothing strenuous, just watering plants, then the spray nozzle started to leak and the next day the hose blew off at the fitting. I'm very disappointed because up until then it was working as advertised and I was quite happy with it. I especially liked the light weight and the fact it reduced in size as you bled it off. I was ready to order another one after a couple weeks, but decided to hold off because of so many bad reports. I'm glad I did. It will be nice when someone makes one that is as durable as a real hose, until then I'm back to using the old school hoses.

I ordered this hose over two years ago and was very happy with it. I have a small space on my patio where the hose bib is, so a regular hose is way too big and clumsy to put there. Unfortunately, my plumber came over and while he was outside looking into a problem, he turned this hose on full force and walked away. Well, it blew up. Anyone who uses an expandable hose knows you only turn the water on slightly and never let it sit there while water pressure builds to capacity, you need to be watering and releasing the pressure frequently.I ordered a second hose to replace the burst one and it had a defect, as it soon developed two leaks right next to each other. I contacted the seller and got an immediate response and they got a new hose shipped out to me right away. I will definitely buy from this seller again. They stand behind their product and their customer service is top notch.

I really like the expandable hose idea. I bought this hose knowing that many reviews were negative, but wanting to try it out. There are some serious flaws with the plastic parts that connect to the water connection and the spray nozzle. They leak no matter how hard you tighten them. However, I do love the expandable hose. It's very easy to use. I can't say I wouldn't by it again, although I might look into hoses that have better connecting parts. But for the price, I'd say it's worth it.

Works just fine, and although I have not used it much, it seems to be as advertised. I would suggest that it be placed inside (out of the elements) when not in use as the durability will not be as good as a comparable garden hose. I store mine in a 10 inch round flower pot on the screened porch.

Love the way the hose shrinks when I finish using it. I let the remaining water, in the hose, run out. It shrinks to a small size that I can easily store under a chair on my patio. I also love that it is lightweight. I don't have any problems with leaking. I will post to this review if I do.Update: I originally gave this product five stars. Unfortunately I bought two of these and both failed within a year. The hose leaked to a point of being unusable. I cannot recommend this product.

I have seen the commercials on TV for these collapsible hoses. Living in a condo, we have a common spigot for hand washing our cars. I did not bring a hose to my new home, and I did want the bulk of a rubber 50 foot hose to store in our locker. A collapsible hose would be a perfect choice. After reading reviews on Amazon and other sites, it seemed like the hoses advertised on TV were very cheap and did not last. I must say that this hose is excellent. It is well made. It is light and easy to store. An added benefit is that comes with its own nozzle that has about 6 different types of sprays. I've used the hose about a half dozen times on my convertibles during warmer winter days and it does the job as well as any high quality hose should. Plus, it will not kink which is a real pain when you're washing your car and and the kink is on the other side of the car. I'm very pleased. It's worth paying the few extra bucks over the cheaper hoses on the market.4/6/14 It was a nice spring day today, so I thought I would wash the car. As I was spraying the car, I noticed a big clear plastic bubble forming on the hose. It burst and now the hose is beyond repair. My spigot is either full on or off. No in between setting. The hose cannot handle high pressure water, but it is not mentioned anywhere in the hose description. The hose only has a 30 day warranty, but I'll see what I can do to get a refund or replacement. If you get one of these hoses, do not turn the spigot on to full pressure.7/10/14I received a nice note from the hose folks several months ago saying that they had a number of problems with a particular batch of bad hoses. If I sent them my address and tested the "new" version, would I change my review after trying out the new improved hose? I sent them my address and guess what? They never sent the hose. So here's another change from 2 stars to 1. These hoses should come with a one year warranty, as stated in the literature. My hose came with 30 days. Be careful buying this type of product.

This hose works really well for my patio garden. It is compact, but gets longer when needed. I absolutely love never having to worry about kinks in the hose blocking the whole flow. The spray nozzle works well, too. I have never put much thought into the particular quality of hoses before, but I don't think I could go back to any other hose after this one.*update* After four months of near-daily use, I am happy to say that this hose is still in good shape. It does not leak at the faucet when it is screwed in all the way. I try to take care of it, but I admit I sometimes get lazy and drag it around the patio, and so far so good. It does look like, reading other reviews, that there are some serious quality inconsistency issues, but ours is well made.

The hose is great for me because I am the worst at coiling a hose after I have used it. So this one that cinches back up is perfect! It doesn't have a very long life and the sprayer is pretty cheap, but it's great for the month or so that it kept my yard clutter-free and watered! The way it breaks is that the exandable tube inside detaches from the metal piece where you screw on the sprayer, so there's really no way to fix it once that happens.
