I have a very old Pyrenees mix. He is literally the dog version of grumpy old men. He just wants to lay on the porch in the sun, get pets, and have his dinner fed to him on silver platter every night. In his old age, he has gotten very picky with eating. I guess now that he is old he doesn't want to waste his time on mediocre treats. He turns his nose up to bacon treats, biscuits, and the latest..pumpkin cookies. However, I offered him one of these treats and he took it immediately. He also became a drool factory while eating it. He occupied him for about 5 minutes but he is a large (XL really ) dog and still has great teeth. I wish they came in larger packaging or bulk discount pricing. I gave them a one star for scent...because they don't smell at all which I think is a good thing. There was no odor when he was chewing the treat and he didn't have smelly breathe afterwards.

My dog is SO picky. There are only so many flavors that she likes when it comes to treats, but she doesn’t like to work hard at anything like her late brothers did with bully sticks. These seem to be the right combination for her: great flavor with a balance of work/ease to keep her interested in chewing. They do stink, but I’m not as fussed with that as some dog owners. After all when did dogs ever love something that didn’t smell strong? To me, that’s just a compromise we make for our dogs. She likes these but couldn’t care less about toys, so these are great gifts for birthdays, holidays, and special occasions.

Our 12 year old golden loves these beef gullet sticks. I have been giving her 2 each day for about a year, and they do not have an offensive odor. These treats are great for a senior dog even though they are devoured quickly. She no longer can chew bully sticks and prefers the hollow gullet sticks. The only recommendation that I would make is to label the bag 15 or 30 since I received a bag of 15 sticks the first time that I ordered even though I paid for 30 sticks. I order a bag of 30 every 2 weeks and intend to keep buying! Thank you for such a high quality treat for my sweet girl.

these always come fresh looking, I base flavor on my dog enjoying them. FYI for buyers, they are a treat, not a long lasting chew, but better than processed items......

There is a smell to the gullet sticks, but it's easy tolerable because my dogs love them so much!. I limit them to one every other day because they would go through them all too quickly. They are easiier for the dogs to digest that the bully sticks, yet they give my dogs the satisfaction of chewing, and their teeth are in great condition at 4 and 7 years old. I have a golden doodle and a GSD.

The dogs like them but the seem to peel apart like bark off a tree. Other ones I bought in the past seem to stay together.

My dog doesn’t like the wishbone style bones. These don’t have a funky stench like some cheaper/low quality brands. She’s a tough chewer and this will occupy her for about 7 mins. Good value! I hide them around the house and she tracks them :) will buy again!

I just purchased my first bag of these Ecokind gullet chews as they had good reviews. It said they were returnable if not satisfied. After I received my order I found out that they are not FDA approved because the gullet comes from the cows thyroid and could contain hormones not good for the dog. I didn’t want to take a chance and decided to return the bag but now it says they are not returnable! Really unhappy because I planned to return these and try the Yak chews. Now I am stuck with something I cannot give my dog. Very unhappy customer!!!!

We got a very nasty surprise when we opened the bag - there was a big beetle and a pupal case inside.

This is a pet treat, not a pet chew.Have a puppy, a Singapore special, about 4 months and less than 10 kg.He absolutely loves these.I give him half a stick at a time, about 3 inches, and he gets through it in about 5-10 minutes.
