If you've never worked with wiring and confined spaces this may be more difficult than average. The lens cover has one tab that's larger and another that smaller which I was easily able to cut out using a utility knife. I would also recommend adding an electrical tape seal right at the back of the harness and of course shrink wrap tubing around where you make your wire connections. ***Seating the LED bulb is a little counterintuitive. Make sure you push the blade end of the bulb into the grooves in the light unit **All in all satisfied with my purchase which helped replace an 11-year-old lens that was brittle and cracked when removed.

My hubby installed it in minutes. He really like the brightness of the lights too! Very good buy!

Worked perfectly, not to mention not overly bright where it effects my rear view camera. The other aftermarket bulbs and housing all burnt out fast. So far over a month going good.

One bulb was bright white and the other was also bright but had a yellow tone to it. That’s my only complaint.

I read the reviews and purchased it anyway. No part of this product fits my 2014 f150. The tab slots in the bumper are not only too small the large whole is too small as well. We're only talking a millimeter or so in every case, but why do they say it will fit? In my case the socket (I'm talking about the part that is connected to the wiring harness) and lamp holder were corroded and would not separate. As a result I also needed the socket so I opted for this complete assembly realizing (based on the reviews) I would probably have to make some modifications. Bottom line is if you have a good sharp razor knife and take your time you can modify the slots for the tabs easily. I used a Dremel with a round grinder bit to enlarge the hole in the bumper a wee bit. Took probably an hour from start to finish the entire job, and other than the LED's it looks like OEM. I will say the brightness of the light is not objectionable. Brighter than the OEM to be sure, but that isn't a bad thing. From looking at the pictures it isn't nearly as bright as the Ruxifey.Update 10/9/2021: Last night in very dark conditions I noticed the new license plate light. I really like it. bright enough to easily see the license plate, but not bright enough to perform open heart surgery. I'm happy with my choice. Would easily get 5 stars if it fit out of the box.

Very easy to install!! Awesome product!! But!!!!! Two weeks after I installed them one burnt out! The other one is still burning strong but not sure how long it is going to last. Pretty cheap money wise but good quality in construction. Not sure why one has already burnt out. I’m sure it was a fluke thing. Yes I would buy this product again. If I do duty again and one burns out then I’ll have to write another review and it won’t be so nice.

The led already stop working in the cold, not good quality.
