Amazon Basics Quick Release Groove Joint Pliers - 12-Inch

These are great pliers for the price. Do I put them in the same category as Knippex- absolutely not. Now are they a good set to toss in the trunk or truck tool bag- heck yeah they are! Bought a second one to supplement my little brother's growing tool collection. Not sure what people are expecting at this price point. They are literally a third the price of Knippex- why are people even comparing the two?? If you need some cheap pliers to toss around go for it!

You get what you pay for. The teeth aren’t the best and doesn’t come close to the better brands but for the price you can’t beat it. I use this as my “second hand” I also use this as a hammer or a pry bar. I don’t care if I break this because it was so cheap to begin with. I still use the branded tools when it counts but I’m so happy with this because it saves these old hands.

Does the job and costs less. What is there not to like. Of course if you put it to extreme test it may not stand up to tools costing 3 times as much, but when will that happen, probably never.

Used this to replace a toilet part. Only issue was the length of the handles. I will definitely ordered one with shorter handles for jobs in smaller places next time. Had great grip and size variation.

It seems to be well made and works fine. it does not have the country of manufacture on it but so far so good

nice strong grip sturdy enough it works well for me as a plumber, and other things around the house.

This is almost comparable to the other name brand ones; I am sure you know what I am talking about. I love this and quickly became one of my most used tools. 10/10 would recommend

La classica pinza di produzione cinese che si trova identica in svariati marchi e che copia il famoso meccanismo di regolazione delle Cobra.Decisamente pesante da l' impressione di essere robusta, ma si sa che negli utensili non è il peso in se a determinare la robustezza, bensì la qualità dell' acciaio utilizzato e le varie lavorazioni di tempratura e indurimento delle zone sollecitate, per farla breve, una knipex di pari dimensioni è più leggera e sicuramente più resistente.La pinza presentava inizialmente un considerevole gioco nello snodo di regolazione, che determinava uno scostamento tra le ganasce di diversi millimetri, che ho risolto smontando il meccanismo di regolazione e inserendo una rondella sottilissima tra le parti in movimento, eliminando il gioco ma mantenendo intatta la scorrevolezza del giunto. con questa piccola modifica le ganasce chiudono prefettamente senza scostamenti laterali, va comunque detto che le ganasce nell' esemplare in mio possesso non sono perfettamente dritte quando sono a contatto, ma è un difetto trascurabile.I manici della pinza hanno un ottimo grip e piacevoli da impugnare, c'è solo da sperare che non si deteriorino con l'utilizzo. Però al tempo stesso i manici non hanno la protezione antischicciamento quando la pinza si regola sulle aperture maggiori, e questo è un bel difetto di progettazione.Non la restituisco per via della modifica che ho apportato e che ha risolto l' instabilità che presentava inizialmente, e poi come pinza di scorta nel cassetto del trattore è più che sufficiente...

Herramienta de buena calidad por un precio módico. En los usos que le he dado me ha dado buen servicio. Los materiales se ven resistentes y tiene buen agarre. La posibilidad de fijar la apertura de la tenaza es también un punto a favor que no tienen todas las tenazas de este tipo. Contento con la compra por ahora.

It didn't last long, barely used it and it broke. Not a reliable product, spend some money and go for a brand name. I learnt my lesson

Made of good strong material that also seems to be rust-proof. It feels sturdy and comfortable in your hand, and the locking mechanism works well and reliably. All this for a basic low price compared to pliers (with slippery design) sold in hardware stores makes this purchase a sure winner.
