Worked as described
The product arrived on time. I installed the software first. Then connected the device to my laptop USB port. Hi then connected one monitor to the HDMI port on my laptop and the other monitor to the HDMI port on the hub. In addition to that I also plugged in a USB mouse cable to charge my phone and a cable to charge my ear buds. Booted up the device. Then booted up my laptop. Everything worked. I am now 7 days into the use of the hub and I've had no glitches.

Great Docking Station
I have now owned the Acodot docking station for about a month and have been satisfied with my purchase. I compared several docking stations before making my purchase, and the deciding factor for me was the six USB 3 ports this station offered. This inexpensive docking station has everything I need:Pros• Gigabit Ethernet Rj-45 connection• 6 USB 3.0 ports, four on the back and two on the front• Support for two monitors, 1 HDMI and 1 DVI (a DVI to HDMI converter is included)• Audio & Microphone ports• Plugin play for Windows 10• Single USB cable to attach to a computer• Solid build quality• Portable• 2-year warrantyCons• No passthrough power to charge a laptop, so you need to plug your power cable into your computer to power it• No support for 4K monitorsThe cons are not problems for me since my laptop doesn’t use USB-C power delivery, and I don’t have any 4K monitors. The only issue I have had with this docking station was once when I attached my laptop, and it didn’t recognize the proper resolution of my external monitor. I knew something wasn’t right when my monitor came on, and everything was scrunched up into a small screen. This problem has only happened once, and rebooting everything resolved the issue.I love this docking station and no longer have to plug in my external hard drive when I want to use them since they are now attached all the time through the station. This docking station works excellent and has made my life easier.

Everything works well except for DVI port
I am using it for already couple of years, it is very usefull and all functionality works well except for DVI port,From time to time monitor connected to DVI port start blinking and adding artifacts to picture. It randomly starts with some pictures and then randomly ends. Except for that all other functions work well. I mostly use two monitor connections, and ethernet connection. Also use couple of usb ports to connect mouse, printer and some other staff.

great purchase
Wanted something cheap and easy and this thing delivered. Have a 6 yr old home desktop w/ dual screens, usb cam, usb printer, ethernet cable for internet, and usb wireless keyboard & mouse receiver. Wanted to be able to dock 4 laptops (1 to 5 yrs old) for the kids & work laptops to take advantage of dual screens, web cam, printer and generally the working desk area. This thing has work flawlessly and was easy to get going. Home desktop was 1st install since it was the only one w/ a DVD player. Installed the driver, pulled the cords off the desktop, got it powered up, hooked up all the cords, and then plugged the single USB to the front of the machine. BOOM worked.Copied the driver to a USB drive, did the same thing for 4 other laptops. BOOM, all worked.Done in like an hour or two. Now when anyone wants to hook up, simply remove the usb from the front of the desktop and plug into any laptop usb port. Seamless & easy. Was really worried about the age and variation of the laptops working. I'm not computer guru and this setup was painless & easy.FYI, all computer are running windows 10. Make sure to install the driver 1st. Had to do an initial display settings adjustment to get size & alignment on displays, but it remembers settings. For the laptops that have touch screens running, we also have the option of mouse or screen navigation now.

Save your money, this item is garbage
I bought this dock around 6 weeks ago, give or take. The first one I got seemed to work alright at first, though I noticed the audio channels were reversed. That's not a huge deal, I used an EQ program to swap them and called it a day..until the audio jack just completely stopped working. Then I noticed that the ethernet connection was very slow. I have gigabit internet, if I use the ethernet port on the dock I could get 150mbs max, but if I plug the ethernet cord directly into my laptop I get 975mbs. Again, not a huge deal I can just plug the ethernet in directly if I need more speed than the dock would give me. Now, we start to get into some of the more pressing issues. The first one was that the dock reports itself to Windows as a "DisplayLink adapter" rather than just passing though your video, not a big deal if you're just using Word or something. But, if you want to do anything else it doesn't work so great. It pretty much keeps any features that require your GPU from working correctly. My laptop has an RTX 2060 and it just wouldn't work as it should because Windows thought I had some generic adapter and it set the refresh rate of my monitor to 30hz(I have a 120hz monitor) and disabled the nVidia control center app. That was a huge deal breaker, so I had to plug the HDMI directly into the laptop.Still, the dock has a ton of USB ports, so if nothing else it can work as a great USB hub, right? Wrong! The USB ports just stop working randomly and won't work correctly again until you power cycle the dock and reboot your PC. So far absolutely nothing on the dock functions as you'd expect so I thought maybe I just got a defective unit and set up an exchange with Amazon to get a replacement.Well, I got the replacement less than a week ago and already every issue I had with the first one is present. The audio is reversed and the jack completely stopped working(again), the graphics passthrough still doesn't work correctly, the ethernet still seems to be a 100mbs adapter despite it claiming to be gigabit, and the USB ports still randomly just stop working. This thing is absolute garbage, save yourself a headache and don't buy this.
