Medicine Cabinet

We have two of these now- we love them so much! They are great quality and easy to install! Definitely recommend for your bathroom as they hold quite a bit. Doors close smoothly and quietly. The gray color is kinda a blue-gray!

I have a tiny bathroom and didn't have enough space to place a freestanding rack so I needed something to mount on the wall above my toilet. This one does the job and looks minimalist and clean. It doesn't stick out or take up too much space. Assembly was straightforward and mounting was easy. You will likely have to drill holes for this to have it centered on your toilet. I tried to mount at least one side of the cabinet on a stud and I used a toggle bolt instead of a plastic anchor on the other side for better support. I currently have around 15lbs of stuff, and a dozen bottles and various tubes in this cabinet right now and it's holding up perfectly. Unless you remove the center shelf, you won't be able to put taller bottle in here or a hair dryer. Another note I have about this cabinet is that the towel holder at the bottom won't be too functional for longer towels if you mount the cabinet over the toilet let I did.

This cabinet is nice. It's nice quality and nice aesthetic for the money. Also, it wasn't too tricky to put together. Please keep that in mind before reading the next bit... It took quite an effort to install this cabinet on our wall. I definitely recommend getting two people to hang it, or even three if you can't find two people of average strength. It's very awkward to handle, especially if mounting it over a toilet, it's not exactly lightweight, and the two screws you use to hang it go through the inner back panel, so the cabinet doors are left swinging open while you hang it (maybe wait to put the doors on after it's mounted? I dunno if that's doable). The worst part about hanging it was not being able to see whether the two screws in the back were lined up with the anchors in the wall. These two little screws are all that hold up this somewhat hefty cabinet, and so getting the screws into anchors is CRUCIAL to keeping the cabinet on the wall (don't skip the anchors, folks). And once you get the first screw into the first anchor, it's even harder to tell whether the second screw hole is lined up with the second anchor hole (we probably should have used a bright flashlight to see if the holes lined up...hindsight is 20/20). Also, the anchors they sent us suck; one of them got driven into the wall by our drill. We ended up using our own, better quality anchors and screws, and the second attempt was a success, though still difficult. It hasn't fallen down yet, but we haven't put anything in it yet. We're a bit nervous, with just two screws to hold it up, but we're just going to be careful about the weight of what's in it, I guess. Like I said, it's a nice cabinet for the price; just brace yourself for the mounting process.

This cabinet was easy to assemble and save for the doorknobs which are a little off, everything lines up perfectly. Provided is a strip that allows you to make the holes for securing the cabinet to the wall and are spot on with the cabinet's pre-drilled holes. The hardware is pre-packaged in separate bags lettered to match the step-by-step instructions. A minor point, the cabinet is a nice shade of blue but a plastic strip that secures the 2 piece back panel is white. Placing the inner shelf with the center holes and items on the shelf pretty much covers the strip. Put a decorative towel on the towel bar and it is a great look.

This is similar in quality to what you’d get from Ikea or similar. The pieces come packed securely in a flat pack box. Each part is labeled and the instructions are clear, if you go slow and take your time. You’ll need a fairly large area to assemble, I had plenty of room on a 4x5 rug. The door hinge screws are small and could be easy to strip out of the MDF, so make sure you’re using an appropriate size screwdriver and don’t over tighten them and you’ll be fine. The parts are made out of quality MDF that is painted black. The back panel is a much thinner, similar type material. They mounting holes may not match up to your studs, so you may have to change out the included mounting hardware. I mounted to sheetrock and one screw lined up with a stud, but the other side did not, so I had to use a different mount made specifically for sheetrock. The plastic expansion mounts are pretty flimsy, but the screws are plenty long enough and sturdy, as long as you’re not filling the cabinet with lots of heavy items, or have children trying to hang from the towel bar. Would definitely buy this brand again.

Take your time assembling this. Not hard to put together. Looks great on bathroom wall. Appears sturdy.
