It looks great, it prints well.
First of those ‘speciality’ filaments I’ve ever used, perfectly suited for all those statue and sculpture prints. Eryone’s Marble PLA is super easy to use but it does have a few kinks.**First Impressions**I won’t lie. When I ordered this material I was so excited to get my hands on it.Delivery was pretty quick this time, it only took about a week from placing my order on Amazon and the delivery dude to ring my door bell. Everything was going so well. Until I opened the box...I honestly haven’t seen a spool so badly wound. It looked so messy I was ‘a little’ worried it might tangle up at any moment. It was surprising, actually. I bought a few filaments from the same manufacturer and they always came perfectly processed.**So, how does it print?**Miraculously. It is an amazingly easy PLA to work with. Once you get stringing under control, you're good to go. This filament tends to ooze quite a bit at higher temperatures. But running it through a 205ºC nozzle, and with a little help of CURA’s combing mode set to ‘not in skin’, it worked beautifully.Check the photos, they’re not a great quality (taken on my phone, no adjustments made) but should show just how great this material looks! The vase was printed with 0.8 mm layer width, nozzle temp bumped up to 215ºC, and the result was impressive.**And the verdict is…**I wouldn’t be using it for superlong prints without supervision because, given how bad the winding is, I’d be too worried it would jam mid-print. And indeed, I did get a tangle mid-print, which caused me lose a few hours on a failed result. But it looks great, it prints well, helps hide tiny imperfections in your machine’s settings, and chances are your spool will be fine so go ahead, buy a piece (or two) and have fun with it! It’s defo worth it!

Woodn't you know it!
I have been wanting to try a wood filament for some time to ease me out of my comfort zone of only using PLA, PETG, and (rarely now) ABS.I had in mind to print a nice 'wooden' statue to see how my latest 3D Printer would perform. The printer I wanted to use the filament on, a Weedo M2, does not have a heated bed so will only print PETG and PLA. Which for the most part is perfectly adequate for my needs.I decided to try the Eryone dark wood filament as I am familiar and confident with the brand.I first printed a calibration 30cm cube (see 1st photo.) using my 'go-to' PLA slicer settings. 0.2 layer height, 10% infill, 200 degrees centigrade, no adhesion methods (the printer is fully enclosed, so no drafts.), and no support. When loading the filament and extruding some to fill the nozzle, I was aware of a familiar smell. Anyone who has ever used an electric saw on new wood will quickly realise the filament gives off the same smell. It is not an unpleasant odour like the smell of slightly toasted wood.Once the printer started going I watched the filament being laid down and it behaves just as 'normal' PLA filament does.I was really pleased with the result. The cube came out perfectly. All the ruler divisions on the cube showed up clearly and there were no zits, holes or any other imperfections. I checked the print with my calipers and it was perfectly square. A testament to both the printer and filament. The camera does pick out the layer lines but these are almost undetectable with the naked eye unless you view the cube from certain angles. At least my eyes. lolSo I eagerly tried the next test. A Chinese cup. Again the results were really good. The layer lines were more easily seen which is not surprising given the complex design but not more so than ordinary PLA.If I was to give the colour a name it would be like that of either dark ash or dark cypress, though I should imagine that it would take a wood stain if you preferred something darker. That is an experiment for another day.Now that I still have plenty of filament left, I am looking for a suitable statue to print other than Groot or any other tree resembling creature. lolAs with other Eryone filaments I have used (and continue to use.), I would highly recommend this dark wood filament. I am really pleased with it.

Great stuff, not well wound though
The media could not be loaded. Printed fine without changing any settings on my FFCP (210c nozzle, 65c bed), tiny bit of stringing but that was probably as I had a few things on the build plate at once. Feels brittle but could be as the prints are almost hollow.Spool is a normal size, so fits your average spool holder, also has the cut-outs on the side so you can see how much you have left. The plastic bag it comes in is not reusable - no zip or anything, you have to cut it open. The prints look quite stone-ish, somewhat shiny so nearer marble than concrete, colour is a bit like pumice - light grey with darker spots. Not well wound though - see the video, you may have to watch for tangles or mid-print snaps unfortunately, otherwise would have given 5 stars.
