Excellent Knife from an Indiana Mom & Pop Business
After seeing some great video reviews, I purchased the "orange and black on black". I’m very happy with the quality, so I’ll be ordering the camo, too. Like a lot of utility/ tactical/ survival knives, this blade measures 3.5 mm (I measured several places with my digital caliper). The scales are great quality, have no uncomfortable corners, but do have a good texture to grip. Basically, the knife and sheath feel great and are of good quality and weight.NOTE ABOUT SHEATH (please see photos): Because I wanted to also order the Tek-Lok sheath (a bargain at just $30 extra), I ordered my knife directly from the Arthos Knives website, instead of off Amazon. The sheath is very sturdy and comes with genuine Blade-Tech Tek-Lok (double pistol logo). The sheath has a firm grip on the knife scales with a positive click when inserted; and is designed to pop-off with thumb pressure, just above the spine.
