Updated: Too soft, but GREAT company
Update 5/4/2013:I installed this protector and wrote the review below and Skinomi sent me a second free screen protector to "write an unbiased review" (which I had already done). I was happy at first, but started noticing some... "denting". While the screen doesn't scratch and provides excellent protection, the material is somewhat soft so it "dents" and leaves streaks from even low-pressure contact (the back side of my fingernails, or keys bumping into it in my pocket). It is correct that there is no scratching, but the denting is almost as bad as scratching. I am tempted to go without any protector rather than look through these waves and dents. That being said, Skinomi has given me excellent customer service and I recommend giving them a shot, especially on other items that aren't this exact one.Original review:I just installed this last night, so I will update if I have any "revelations" about it.Yes, the installation is a "wet" installation. While this is strange and a little scary, as far as I can tell, it will not damage your device whatsoever if you follow the instructions. Installation was extremely easy; if people gave up on this installation I believe they haven't tried other non-wet installations as they are much more difficult. They recommend turning off your device for 12-24 hours, and to remove the battery if possible, this is obviously to prevent the battery from getting wet. While I understand their recommendation for 12-24 hours, this is somewhat difficult for people to do with their cell phone nowadays. I think if you can't turn it off for that long, do as the video says and install it just before bed, and then when you wake up, try to leave your device still for as long as possible (don't put it in your pocket, use it much, etc.). I think this will allow you to turn your phone back on, while still preventing anything from getting wet.So far the screen looks great, there are a few little "waves", but those may disappear over time. Great screen protector, highly recommended to keep your screen perfect!

Fantastic Screen Cover for Your Phone
This Skinomi TechSkin for the Nokia Lumia 822 is a really great product. Yes, it's a screen cover. But it's actually somewhat simple to put on with a good results if you do certain things. First, even though you may have put on other screen protectors before, watch the video. Really, it lets you skip reading the instructions. Although the video narrator sounds nervous and like he's reading from a script, the actual steps visualized in the video are helpful. Next, if you have dogs or cats, go somewhere else to put the screen protector on. Trust me on this one. You will have little animal hairs stuck inside your screen if you don't close your little friends out of your room. Don't ask me how I know. If you find you have something with texture trapped underneath the skin, you can peel it off, either remove the thing or rinse the skin, and reapply. It's totally worth it. The final suggestion I have is to leave off any entire-phone outer covers. I found that when I put the phone cover on immediately after I put the skin on, it pushed the skin out of position. The skin needs "cure" into position onto your phone. You want this. It'll make the protection level of your screen that much better, and allow any settling without interference. If you are afraid you can't be without your phone for any length of time, do this right before bed and then you can give it at least several hours to cure without messing with it. When you first put the skin on, you might notice a cloudy residue on the surface. That goes away after a few hours. Again, let it cure. Overall, I love this skin. To me, it is comparable to the much higher priced brand that's sold at Best Buy. Factoring in their commercial, I wouldn't dream of putting a Dremel bit onto my cell phone screen - screen protector or not. To me, that's just asking for trouble. I will update my review after I've spent some time tossing my phone around, carrying it in my pocket, bag, etc. At this point, this is the product to use.

Excellent protection
This is an excellent product that is very easy to apply thanks to the directions the company provides. I usually end up with really ugly bubbles and such under the protector, but the solution and application instructions made is pretty easy to apply without getting any of the ugliness I get from traditional protectors. I use my phone at work and in my garage so my phone gets covered in metal dust, oil and grease, but the protector still looks as perfect as when I first put it on the phone. As a note, it should be said (as many others have noticed) that it is a flexible material, and is not perfectly smooth. It gets dimples in it from pressing too hard or using your nails, but they heal in a day or two and the surface smooths back over. Also, the dimples are almost impossible to detect when the backlight is actually on, only when the screen is off can you really see them. Overall an excellent product and I would recommend giving it a shot if you are sick of normal screen protectors getting scratched up and nasty looking.
