How did I live without this devise for all these years?!?I just happened to be shopping for something on Amazon when a picture of this device popped up and the row of suggested items and I thought it was a new iPad with a keyboard built in. I was seriously looking at it thinking that I would love to have a keyboard attached to my iPad, guess I am going to have to upgrade to get that. Then I saw that it was a keyboard and case that your own iPad fits INto! I knew instantly that I had to have one, but hoped they came for my 2018 model, and sure enough they did!I received it today and I am typing this review on it right now. The iPad integrates so perfectly into it that you wouldn’t know it wasn’t a small laptop just by looking at it. My husband even walked by and asked if I got a mini laptop. I had to pop the iPad out to show him this cool new toy. I absolutely Love it! I can believe no one shared this with me before…I would have bought it in a minute.The keyboard is small, but most of the functions are just like a regular keyboard. But it is easy to get use to quickly and start typing away using all of my fingers not just two. I love the backlighting of the keys and being able to pick the color and the brightness to suite my preference. I just have to keep reminding myself that there is no mouse pad below the space bar and that my little monitor is my ‘touch screen’ iPad, LOL.The battery only took about 2 hours to fully charge and I have been on it typing away on things for a few hours and it is still going strong. The two integrated so well together that it is seamless. You wouldn’t know that it is two separate devices. Set up was just about as easy as it gets, other than waiting for the battery to get its first full charge, I was up and running in less than 3 minutes.Whoever thought up this cool device deserves an award, I am so very happy now!

I appreciate the sturdiness of the case. The hinge holding the iPad is very secure and the iPad can be rotated in almost any direction you could want. Backlit keyboard is a plus, especially when I want to use the tablet in bed and not wake my wife. Battery life is outstanding, and having the ability to turn off the keyboard with a physical switch makes battery life even more extended.I had a slight issue with the case and when I contacted the seller, I received a response in less than a day with an offer of help and asking for more information. When I sent the additional information, within one day I got a response and a most satisfactory resolution to my problem. This seller really stands behind this product and I will try to buy from this seller again.Feb. 2022 - Still 5 stars. Had another issue with the device and the seller came through again. Most customer-committed seller I have ever purchased from. One-star reviewers - did you contact the seller for help?!?!?!?!?!

This is a pretty good product all around. The keyboard is nice, easy to turn on and off, and the keyboard will turn itself off after idling for a bit (easily wakes when pressing a key or two). The case is very easy to rotate into the normal tablet style.The weaknesses is that the case is difficult to open if completely shut like a laptop, awkward to hold in left hand for a long period of time in tablet mode, in a 40 degree back tilt in normal laptop setup it falls backward, and the right shift key is small to make room for arrow keys. The first 2 weaknesses I plan on using duct tape to modify and make them non-existent. The 3rd weakness is not really that bad because I think most people using iPads only tilt the screen that far back due to habits developed with other iPad cases. I can still use the iPad in laptop mode perfectly fine without tilting it past 30 degrees. The 4th weakness is annoying at times, but is fine once you get used to making sure that you remember that fact as you are typing.Overall, this is a good case for the price that you can easily modify to fix some of it's weaknesses.

I hit the jackpot when finding and purchasing this product! First, it’s durable design has kept my iPad in pristine condition. Second, this compact case and keyboard has a multitude of features such as a backlit keyboard and swivel screen that makes it a joy to use. I’m a frequent traveler and am constantly being asked by other passengers about this nifty case. Most importantly, the customer service from BABG is exceptional! After 11 months of use, my keyboard began to double type characters. I noticed that customer service had to contacted by email and my first thought was this is going to take forever! To my surprise, I was contacted within 24 hours with a few options to try to correct the situation. When these didn’t work, I was immediately sent a replacement case/keyboard. My husband was so impressed he immediately ordered a case/keyboard for himself. In this day and age, it’s difficult to find a company that truly cares about their customers. BABG customer service has made me a customer for life!
