It is broken down into 4 parts: ' The Nature Of The Angel ' which is very enlightening, lucid and written from three very different perspectives and traditions. 'After The Angel ' which is worth the price of the book alone and should be read more than once, i think anyway, and gives you much to think about and consider if you Really want to do this and the ramifications of going through the ritual. ' The HGA In The Magickal Schools' the two essays in this section are very good. One is from the Ogdoadic Tradition, one from a Thelemite's perspective which is really interesting indeed. And finally, 'The 2011 Blogosphere Debates' which is what brought about the creation of the book in the first place.The chapters are made up of personal accounts of trying to meet and actually meeting the HGA. There are times when the information will make you take note of who you are and if you are really ready to undertake the rite. It makes the old saying "Man Know Thyself" of supreme importance! Then there are times when it will make you smile, shudder and think about why you want to meet your HGA and what you stand to gain.I wish that more people would write books like this. The insights that come from personal experience and practice are extremely helpful and genuine. This is what this book is about, genuine experience. Priceless indeed.The book is really a 'Must Have' and should be read by all who are interested in performing the Rite or if you are interested in Angels in anyway at all.Thank you very much Mr. Cecchetelli you have given us a true Gem! And thank you Nephilim Press for publishing the book. Keep them coming!

I like Cecchetelli’s approach to this subject. The book is a great cross section of modern day occultists perspectives on attaining Knowledge & Conversation with your Holy Guardian Angel. I would encourage anyone who is considering undertaking the process of attaining Knowledge & Conversation with their HGA to read this book. At a minimum, it lays out some methods that other practitioners have used, but as emphasized in the book, it is up to the individual practioner to determine what method will work best for them. It also stresses the need for commitment, sacrifice, and prayer, which I believe the process requires. Whether a person chooses Liber Samekh or Abramelin or the Stele of Jeu is not important. Like many things in the practice of magic, we have to find what resonates with us at our core. This is why no one can tell you exactly what process will work for you. You have to find it on your own. It must be genuine and it must be from the heart.

Great work, if you already are in this frequency and on the path you need to buy this book because it will help you with the HGA. It gave me a few very good tips that transformed my approach. Plus you can go to town on the references. It is a serious book for people who take this work seriously.

This book is an anthology so the different contributors each offer a different perspective on their experience of their Holy Guardian Angel. All the contributions are excellent. To be honest, the writing and content exceeded my expectations. This is a great resource for anyone who is attracted to this type of work but who don't have the benefit of more experienced practitioners to guide them. Get it!

If this subject interests you, I would recommend it. However, be aware that Amazon may be charging you for a new copy of the book but will send you a very clearly used copy.

Very informative from a variety of perspectives.

This book is 100 years late.The information in here,scattered throughout, provides valuable insight into what the Angel is all about.As a matter of fact the name GUARDIAN ANGEL is for the benefit of those boys from the INQUISITION who love surgery and dentistry in a violent way. To appease those greedy sexually repressed old men such a name is needed.The variety of ways in which you can achieve that Familiar is also discussed. The Initiate will find valuable information,read between the lines.N.B. There are other Solar Rites, long forgotten to reach the top without the Familiar or Angel and you don't have to be religious or pious.The paths are many,the end is one. .

This book was recommended to me and I cannot be more grateful that it was. It’s such a gooooood book, hard to put down, but energetically dense so I’ve been reading it slow. I can’t believe I’ve lived a whole magical life without reading this!
