Hardwood Scroll Frame Knobs-Set Of 4

One knob would not fit in the scroll frame.

The knobs are, in my opinion, a bit pricey, but well worth it. They are high quality HARD wood, not cheap soft wood, which means you can really torque them down and they will take the stress. They will dramatically reduce the number times you will snag your working thread, and also provide scratch-free feet to rest the frame on when you're not working on the project, keeping the fabric elevated away from potential dirt. They can be easily transferred from one frame to another.

These knobs don't fit the screws on the standard needlepoint frame - too big, so they are useless!

I bought these to change the tension knobs on my cross stitch scroll frame stand and the worked perfectly. Very nice light colored wood and I gave it a clear coat for protection. I put these on all my scroll frames. They are much easier on your hands when tightening the frame.

Love these I'm disabled and have problems with my hands and these make it much easier to tighten then the wing nuts!!

I use a Homecrafters needlework scroll frame (which I love), but if you aren't careful, it is possible for your floss to get stuck or wrapped around the wing nuts that hold the frame together. This is a minor problem that can be fixed by purchasing these scroll frame knobs, which would replace the wing nuts. I think the knobs look nicer than the wing nuts anyway.
