GREAT out of the Box. Kicked them up with homemade lead shot bags.
Out of the box the quality was great. After researching, I chose this one. I do NOT plan to run or treadmill or do vigorous exercises with them. I am in an aggressive PT program to restore my left knee which was shattered in an accident. So my use was to do leg or quad lifts and as I become stronger, I will need more weight.I removed one of the sandbags and then had two choices. Use a seam ripper or Exacto knife and open the top and dump the sand. OR construct a bag that has lead shot in it.I opted to clone one of the bags and fill it with #7-1/2 lead (shotgun) shot. The sandbags weight around 10.7 Oz. I could easily get 42 (2#-10 Oz) in the same envelope or volume. My DW stressed over finding some RipStop nylon kite material for the new bags or using something like denim. Turns out the solution was even simpler. I used a small sandwich bag that was approximately the same length as the original sandbag and put it in a plastic cup and zeroed the scale. Added 42 Oz of Shot. Laid the bag on its side and spread out the shot a bit so that the overall profile closely matched the original. Trimmed off the excess and and folded over the rest and “Scotched” it closed. Then I used a heavy duty first aid tape and laminated it to the bag, so essentially, I had a cloth bag as the tape overlaps the edges of the adjacent strips and the end. NOW, the Engineer kicked in. I needed a slick surface to assist in getting the bag to slide into the pouch.Found a slightly larger Freezer bag and cut off the excess. I then sealed the long edge with HD clear packing tape and folded over the end and sealed it. I have primary, secondary and tertiary containment. The new bags slip in easily and should not be a spillage risk.Substituting 2 42 Oz plastic shot filled bag for 2 of the sand kicked up one weight to 7.5#....which was my target. If you remove and substitute ONE lead filled bag, you have increased the 3.5 # to around 5.5 pounds.VERY INEXPENSIVE way to get a quality set of leg or ankle weights and then be able to adjust and increase the weight.VERY pleased with them out of the box and even more so after I constructed the lead shot bags.

High quality and affordable!
I bought these weights to assist with rehab post knee surgery. I really like the detail to quality that was used to make these weights. The stitching is strong and the fabric used is a thick neoprene. The neoprene feels smooth against skin and helps with moisture control. The weight is easy to adjust and provides a good amount of resistance for training. Everything about this product has met my expectations. I definitely recommend this product.

Impractical
I was excited about these to use as wrist weights, but they are so large that they are impractical to use as wrist weights. I'm 5'6", so not short, but these weights were practically the entire length of my forearm. They were very bulky, I had to return them. It is also extremely difficult to remove the individual bags that make these weights adjustable. I do not recommend these if you need/want adjustable weights, as it's nearly impossible to remove the weights, and even less possible to get the bags back into the stitched compartment.

Defective and poor quality
I bought this ankle weight set end of Feb. I used it less than 3 months (a few times per week) and one of them is coming part already (see the photo). Soon the tear will be big and one of the weights will fall out. It shouldn't do this so soon. Amazon or the seller, please respond back to me and allow exchange or refund.

These Weights are Perfect
I looked at many ankle weights and selected these, and I'm so glad I did. They are easily adjustable, use hard-packed sand for the weights, and fit well. I had knee surgery and started doing legs lifts with just one weight added in. As I progressed in healing, I could add more each week until I now have all the weights in. The ankle weights are durable and will last a long time.

Ajustable weights!
Quality is good- size perfect for ankle or wrists!!But I think what I like the best is the ability to go from light to heavy to adjust the work out, no need for multiple products.

Great value for price
I wasn't sure if this product would be good but it has surprised me. It's very comfortable and I can change up the weights from light to heavy depending on the day and what kind of workout I want to have.I can wear them on my arms and ankles and they work really well. I think it's great for the price I paid.

Bulky & difficult to fasten tight for wrists.
I find the product difficult to fasten tight especially on the wrists unless someone else helps u. The fastening method they designed is not practical for using it on your wrists and should be revised. Also the product is too bulky to be used practically for wrist weights. This product is really designed just for ankle weights and it should be advertised as such, you’ll be disappointed if your intent is to use it for your wrists. Otherwise it’s price point is great and the quality is surprisingly good for the price point.

They seemed great!
But a strap is starting to tear from the seam, just noticed it today. I use them once a day for about 1 to 1.5 hour walk. I thought they were the best thing and was about to order another set till I noticed some people say they were falling apart so I decided to look closely at mind and what I said above is happening. THIS SUCKS, now I have to get a new pair for when these fall apart.
