Brings depth to my readings.
This book gives so much depth and meaning to tarot cards. It includes information on the gifts and challenges of each card. The section on how to read a card gives 5 different ways to do so, which I found useful. Briefly they are 1. Describe the image 2. explain suit and number 3. apply meaning to your question or card position 4. what does the card say to you intuitively 5 what is the gift or challenge this cards offers you and 6. what lesson for your higher purpose does the card present you. the book expands on this with examples.

A superb book to use if you have the Morgan - Greer
I have the Morgan - Greer deck and you get a little fold out little white book. This book has the RWS (there are plenty of books on that deck), the M - G and the Palidini I think. This book has an explanation of the imagery of the card and some interesting thoughts and ideas of how to interact with the cards.I recommend this book.

This is a wonderful book which gives so much depth and meaning with the explanation of all the symbols within the cards. It was well packaged and had a good delivery time, I'll certainly look out for Wordery again. Communication with them was speedy and courteous. Many thanks.

Faint Print, Images Unrecognisable!
This is a Tarot Classic, and I was looking forward to reading it, but the pint quality of this copy is terrible. Writing is small and faint, but worst of all, the images of the cards are terrible, some of them are virtually impossible to identify!I wish there was a hard copy of this book with larger, clear print, with images that were clear. This book will be hard to use for someone not familiar with the decks used!

My go-to tarot book (and I have many...). Excellent for spiritual and path work tarot practice.
I purchased this hoping for a book to help me advance my understanding of tarot from a spiritual and path work lens. It's a solid guide for both. The authors incorporate archetypes and the major arcana is divided into 2 archetypal journeys but I wouldn't recommend this book as an introduction to archetypal tarot. However, if you're familiar with archetypes, you will appreciate how they are woven into the interpretations and into the exploratory questions. For each card, this book includes brief and insightful interpretations of the imagery from the RWS, Morgan Greer and the Aquarian decks. While I don't use all 3 decks (I've never really connected with the RWS deck but use the Morgan Greer deck plus some awesome indie deck), examining the differences between the illustrations provides deeper understanding of the card.I particularly appreciate the first-person narrative story for each card that includes a key phrase (ex: 6 Cups "using memories and feelings creatively" and The Chariot "determined search for greater understanding"). The authors chose to use "shadow aspects" rather than reverse interpretations. This really allows you to decide how you use reversals in your readings, if you use them at all. Lastly, each card includes 4 guiding questions or gateway statements for you to explore the meaning of the card in your reading. I've used these for journaling and to help me navigate complicated readings. If you're looking for a guidebook to help you with "love/money/career/family" readings, this is not the one. If your tarot practice is about self examination and exploring your relationship with the All That Is and the always changing world, this book is a wonderful companion.

Excellent for using Tarot for personal growth
I started using this book with a Morgan deck over 20 years ago. I literally wore out my old copy!!! It was duct taped together, so I was so excited and pleased that they are now reprinting it.

A book you didn’t think you’d need
I find myself picking this book up for an instant reference point for interpretation, in fact I am taking my time to truly read and absorb each page. The wisdom and writing style, choice of words and how each card has an introduction personally from each card as if written directly to the reader from the card itself helps the reader grasp the meaning behind the card. After a card description are prompts to help you understand more with valuable questions and advice, each court card and numbered suit card is described the same as the major cards. Shows you card example of: RWS ,Aquarian tarot and Morgan-Greer tarot with a small sentence pointing out individual features and key 🔑 symbols and meanings. Approx 4 pages explaining the meaning of the numerology 1-10.Not a book for individuals looking for deep knowledge or a plethora of in-depth card analysis, each representation in this book is approx 2-3 &1/2 pages long at most. It doesn’t go into depth about astrology and Cabala, just a brief paragraph description of these topics involving tarot but not the main subject or covered too deeply, more superficiallyDefinitely worth purchasing even for those studying tarot (newbies) gives a new perspective to tarot than other tarot books I’ve read and I believe this is due to the style of writing and how the author took the time to choose each word purposely so that you the reader would have a easy time grasping the depth of meaning.doesn’t exactly provide reversed descriptions but does express the negative side of each card in a two line paragraph at the end of each sentence *again enough so you can grasp the negative side of the character expression simply.I deducted one star ⭐️ because of the images in the book, the photos are so faded and blurry, but the layouts are drawn fine, simply needs better card display images. But other than that this is a book I’ll be keeping with me whenever I do readings it’s a quick easily summed up read.
