Playlearn 14” LED Fiber Optic Lamp with Remote - USB/Battery Powered – Color Changing Crystal Base – Fiber Optic Light Sensory Lamp

I just LOVE this thing! It takes me back to the 80's!! Unfortunately, in the photo that I took, you can't really see the spectrum of colours in the base. But, my best description is that it looks like pink and lavender crushed ice (it's on the purple setting). It's also in front of my air conditioner so that the fibers gently sway. I most DEFINITELY would recommend this lighting effect to add a lovely, fun and versatile addition to your home, no matter how old you are!!

It's so colorful and easy to put together and use. The remote is a bonus.

This is more of a kid toy than a lamp. However my 18 month old son gets a kick out of it and I love that it’s wireless and can travel with us easily. The colors are on point too. I would say the fibers do come out on occasion so be aware of that especially with small kids!

This was a very special present, it came broke but a twist of the wrist and it was brought back to life, my niece had used this thing all the time since she got it, that remote really makes a difference.

in the mid 90's or maybe early 2000's, there is lamp like similar to this color changing fountain that can be purchased thru calling the number on the ad or mailing in order from a print catalog. Well this idea was taken from that olden times, but I liked the ones before where the base is round and black and inside there is a rotating plate that makes the strings move and rotate 360 degrees while changing fountains of colors. I kept looking for those online BUT it seems they dont make it that way anymore. Its all like this now.Anyway, I bought this last week and what I think is that the crystal base is the part where almost all the lights are drawn on, hardly any that goes on tips of the strings because when you light it up, the base is so bright that it defeats the purpose of distributing the glows of lights through the fountain strings. It doesnt make sense, the idea is to see glowing lights through fiber optic but in this case if ur only purpose is to look at the base then this one is the right thing to get. Theres other ideas like moon globe or ball changing lights, etc. For me I like the lights to be illuminated all thru the fountain of strings. The base should be dark colored or black(like the one back in the day) for the lights to glow all they way to the tip. So what I did was I covered the extra bright base with black papers and its a magic.Overall I like the older version way better!

The light arrived and was damaged by how it was shoved in the box. Multiple strands were broken, and since it was bare with no packing, we had to disassemble the box to slide it out the bottom so strands would not be further damaged. The remote was stuck in the strands bending some.Once batteries added, the base is very bright - so bright you can barely see the lights on actual strands. The ends of strands looked either damaged or coated in adhesive about 2cm up from the ends.The remote works intermittently only in certain positions.Absolute garbage. Don’t purchase this light.

Not only is this bigger than I thought it would be, but the fiber optics are brighter. A great value, my child is gonna love it for Christmas! Highly recommend.

I got a lamp with a remote control so I can get the lamp to do what I want it to do. In other words, I have to change it after I turn it on. I actually want the lamp to do something fairly simple, but that is not what such a lamp initially does. This lamp does what I want it to do. I actually got another one after I saw how much I liked the effect of the first one. And I also discovered right away that the first one didn't work entirely properly, although I could get it to do what I wanted it to do just fine. But the seller did contact me to find out how I was doing with the lamp and I mentioned the situation to them. They promptly sent me a replacement.

Une bonne lampe pour un éclairage d'ambiance, idéal à offrir en cadeau.Fonctionne avec des piles ou avec un câble branché sur secteur. Néanmoins, l'usage des piles vous forcera à régulièrement les changer, je conseille donc une utilisation avec le câble.
