Husband very happy with this purchase , fits well, quality fabric and well made

I own one of this jacket from a few years ago and always loved it. So I got a new bigger one since I have gained weight. The fit is great and looks great, however the logo is now black not white embroidered, the collar also has changed, it used to be the same material as the rest of the inside but now it's just black as the outside. But the pockets have improved and are sturdier, mine broker after a few years. So all in all its a great product with a fe changes. I would buy this again happily. I have a 45" chest and a large fits perfectly even wearing a hoodie underneath, nice and fitted not baggy.

Great jacket. Good price. Despite the shoulder design different to a Baracuta (which has raglan shoulders) I don't see the justification on spending 4 times as much. I'm a 45 chest, I ordered an XXL but it was massive. So quickly received an XL which was spot on. Good quality, and at £58 are bargain.

If you aren't going to be spending near £300 on a Baracuta, and you know you won't feel good wearing an under-£20 cheapo, then this is an attractive one. Most of the styling details of a Harrington are there -- the stand up collar, the ribbed waist and cuffs, the reverse-flap pockets, the slim fit. It appears to have a yoke at the back, but it is only single-thickness so won't help in a shower. The sleeves are set-in, not raglan. This is not an exact copy of a Baracuta, and it is made in China, but I would call it the next best thing.The poly/cotton outer material seems good quality, the brushed cotton lining less so. The zip (not YKK) looks OK and is a vital component. So far, so good. It is only a single-puller type.I was very pleased with the dark red colour, that goes well with jeans, black trousers and pale chinos. In cooler weather, this will look good over a black polo-neck.

I previously bought this exact jacket 10 years ago. It lasted very well. The current specs are identical apart from the sizing. Their XL used to be like a UK Large but now it’s true to size. I had to swap my XL for a Large. It’s warm and very well made with a quality YKK zip. Being 60% cotton makes it a lot nicer than similar cheaper Harringtons.

This Jacket is gorgeous, the colour is really lovely and the size is perfect. Really lovely product and great price.

I was slightly sceptical that the quality was going to be any good when I ordered this jacket as I last had a Barracuta back in the 90's which I loved until someone stole it. However, having read all the reviews I decided that I would give it a go considering the price was around a quarter of the price of a Barracuta. It came the very next day and I was more than happy with the jacket. The quality seems fine and the style and fit were spot on. I did luckily paid attention to the reviews and the size guide and went for the large as opposed to the usual medium. I can also see where the review was coming from that was concerned with the sleeve length but as I am 5'8 it was fine for my arm length. I will definitely use the brand again and may get a summer one later (beige or light blue). Well done Merc I think this is a definite option if you don't fancy paying silly money for a Barracuta.

Väldigt nöjd med köpet! Jag är 175cm, väger ca 68kg och M satt perfekt. Jackan känns rejäl och verkar vara av riktigt bra kvalitet.

Materiał bardzo słabej jakości: bardzo łatwo i bardzo szybko się obiera, łapie każdy paproch. Trzeba nosi przy sobie wałek do czyszczenia tkanin.Materiał ściągaczy również mizerny - po rozpakowaniu był lekko zmechacony, po miesiącu noszenia jest bardzo zmechacony.Na plus- kurtka ładna i wygodna. Ale za takie pieniądze można oczekiwać materiałów dobrej jakości. Ale cóż, kurtka jest "Made in China"...

A used item has been delivered. I love this jacket and will probably buy it elsewhere. Merc should be careful with choosing resellers.

Eine tolle Jacke, Qualität und Farbe genau wie vom Verkäufer beschrieben. Aus hochwertigem Stoff und sehr gut verarbeitet. Ich bin 187 cm groß, habe breite Schultern und wiege 120 Kg. Die Jacke habe ich in xxxl bestellt. Sie ist nicht zu klein und auch nicht zu groß, passt perfekt! Meine Kaufempfehlung!!!
