Brigitte Bailey Women's Demri Lux Dress

I was very nervous ordering this, as there was no provided size chart and I am 5'10" & 200lbs. I was worried about the length, mostly.... I ordered an XL and it fits great! Not too short, not too long. The shoulders are just a little bit snug, not a deal breaker, everywhere else it fits perfect and true to size.My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the fact it came wadded in a plastic bag and very wrinkled and kind of smelt weird, like, factory chemical smell. I think with a wash and an iron it will be great! The fabric is nice and it seems to be a quality ,add dress!

This is an odd fitting dress. According to size chart I should order a large. I did. The top part of the dress was HUGE. Fell open and could fall off my shoulders. The bottom half fit okay. However, the sleeves were not quite full long sleeves on me, and I don't have long arms. Also it seemed to be high-waisted as in the elastic waist of the dress didn't hit my natural waist so the fit felt weird.I swapped the large for a size medium. Medium is a much better fit for me (I am usually a size 10 in dresses but that depends on the style because often a size 8 will do). The issues that still exist, with the medium size, are the ill-fitting waist line that does not sit at my natural waist line, and the too short long sleeves. I kept the dress because the pattern is pretty, and for the price you can't beat it. You look great just putting it on with heels. The wrap front bodice of the dress is low-cut so I wear a tank top under the dress that perfectly matches the citron color in the dress.

Dress is cute- I like it overall. The sizing is a bit large because the high waist gives extra room in the tummy (I bought it months ago but I'm actually going to now wear it for my baby shower because my baby bump fits in it!) It's a flattering, forgiving shape.My complaint is about quality. I missed the return window so I've had to work around the problems. One of my sleeves is missing the button hole, so I had to cut one myself. (Otherwise the sleeve would flap open, while the other one is closed around the wrist.) The neckline/bust is also completely open (I don't mean it's low-cut... I mean it's WIDE open), so I've had to safety pin it closed and need to stitch it when I have time.I ordered a different dress from Brigette Bailey years ago and had no problems. So... it may just be the luck of the draw. I just expect more than that for the price (the specific color I bought was $60!)

This dress is so adorable and flattering for the price. I'm tall at 6', but the dress is still long enough! It's a little low cut in the front if you're looking for something a little more conservative. I liked the low cut and it was appropriate for the conditions under which i wore it. It would be super easy to just put a hidden safety pin on the v neck and pull it together a bit more. The sleeves button and can be pulled back. They're a little short on me, but most things are because of my height. I think if i were a little shorter, they would be perfect.

It's a beautiful print, but the dress is awkwardly cut for a curvy person. I needed to pin together the front so my DD chesticles wouldn't spill out enthusiastically. I do get lots of compliments, but I have to tug on this dress all day to make myself feel comfy. I just wish it were about 2 inches longer and I were about 20 pounds lighter, since I'm wishing. Pretty, but cut for a more modest chested chick.

This dress was absolutely beautiful and very flattering. I did pin the top a little to show less cleavage, but that was expected.

Absolutely adorable dress. I run between a 12/14, very busty, and around 5' 3 and purchase the xl. I honestly could have sized down but boy it is cute and comfortable. It's a faux wrap top with a split skirt but it is lined so you don't have to worry about giving a peep show! May need to buy some of the other colors!!

This is a very odd fitting dress. I ordered a medium since I usually wear a 10/12 or M. The top was extremely large and fell open at the bust. The elastic waist is too high, and the bottom of the dress is very short. One sleeve was not sewn closed at the button. It does not have button holes, and the other sleeve was sewn closed. I wish it looked like it does in the picture, but I'm returning it today.
