About the Author I’m Marty Knox, a retired math teacher and computer science instructor, BSBA, MED Math. 60+ credits post-grad. Lived in Arizona for thirty-eight years. Ruben Donnelly, Cox Newspapers, Graphic Art Service, a College textbook publisher, and a Satellite Electronic offshoot of Motorola. I taught Computer Science, Math, ESL, and GED at Arizona Community Colleges on the Pima, Navajo, and Hopi Rez, and was the High School Math Department Chair on the Apache Rez. I was on the 24-year graduation plan, working full time, raising kids and going to college. I never gave up. Took three years for a Masters (Math, Ed, How to Develop On Classes) and no amount of money would tempt me to get a doctorate after writing a thesis. I'm an omnivorous and voracious reader; no bot has figured me out. Non-Fiction, Classics to SciFi to Mystery to Adventure, whatever strikes my fancy. Isn't one click amazing? I love books and reading. I've filled up one Kindle and bought another. Plus a personal library full of books. I gift books to everyone young and old. So many books so little time. Never stop reading. The first star on the left is waiting for you. As Mame says: Life is a banquet, and I add - so are books waiting to be devoured by lucky you. Never in human history has it been easier to enjoy a good story whether 3000 years old or just written today. Experience an adventure, far away places, and meet interesting characters. Hope you enjoy my tale of the adventures of Minerva and Michael in a small town in Northern Arizona on Old Route 66. Read more

Intriguing mystery of the death of a woman disliked by many
I was given this book as a gift from a dear friend who knew I liked good stories. There was a lot about this book, from character dialogue to the murder mystery. As you follow along with the discoveries Minerva and her new husband make about the death if their neighbours Mrs Stephens, you are pulled into the town of Black Mesa. It will be interesting to see if the author continues to write about this Arizona locale and its many diverse personalities. The final chapter lends homage to the writing style of Agatha Christie.
