SMOS Panda Activator for Panda Gamepad Pro and Mouse Pro to Android

It came in the mail today. It was a standard female USB on one side, labeled phone, and a male standard USB out on the other side, labeled power.You have to connect to a power source as well as your phone. The phone by itself won't work.So I had the drive plugged into my phone via a basic cable (not included), and then plugged the drive into my power bank (not included). Then, I went to the panda app... it didn't say activated yet so i clicked the activation area, then I clicked where it mentioned this stick, then I finally clicked "already have it, activate now". There was a phone popup about trusting this device for USB debugging (you should be familiar with this if you've activated with PC). Clicked yes and boom. After it's activated in the panda app, you can disconnect it.Android, Razer Phone 2. Now I have no need for my windows PC anymore lol... I can keep this small USB drive with my power banks or controller.Does what was expected.... Way more convenient than using a computer.

My phones screeen is broken so i wanted to still play pubg so i boightvone but it dont work for pubg thats considered cheating by tencent or whoever runs it but it works for payday 2 which i like to play alot and it worked for something else I trird real quick but i forgot the name. I will give it 5 stars cuzbits not their fault it dont work for pubg its pubg and their anti cheat software that blocks all controller operation

It works. Tried this on LG G5 and Samsung S10. It takes about 20-30 seconds for it completely sync up properly. But once it's verified, as long as you don't reset the phone, it will remain synced.I tried to even charge my phone with this, bad idea. No matter what power bank you plug it into, it will only supply 5v 0.5amps. Which is trickle charge. For reference, my Samsung S10 reports 11 hour charge time from 15% battery.PS: Despite it's versatility, I spend more time using Octopus rather than Panda, and only use Panda when it's absolutely required. So this dongle rarely gets used.I mean, if you can afford to buy the Panda app, paying an extra 3 dollars for this adapter, really makes your life easier.

Did absolutely nothing on my rooted Moto X4 running Android 8.1, and I watched it do nothing through the terminal with logcat. Perhaps I received a defective unit? At the point where there is a phone popup about trusting this device for USB debugging, I have tried approving it, but the SMOS appears to come up with a different hash/key each time it is connected; so it does not retain the approval for the next time.Files on this device seem suited to only one expected set of folder, or perhaps a 32-bit version of Android (mine is 64-bit).My phone was previously working fine with PC activation, then suddenly stopped working right about the time this product started being advertised in the GamePad app. Don't waste your money or time, as if it does not work, cost of returning the product would be greater than the purchase and shipping.

Snail mail from China....Yay for waiting a month to get it.Found a way around activator.bat in first week.Will still test devices when it arrives

Got mine today. It definitely is more convenient than using a computer and works as described. I had no issues getting it to work on a Samsung Galaxy S20 and S21 Ultra.

Followed the directions and it worked perfectly! Plugged it in, gave it a minute or so and it activated right away. Deducted one star because it took weeks to come in. But was well worth the wait.
