Sand Molds & Tools Kit

I purchased this to replace the flimsy cardboard box that came with my son's kinetic sand. This thing is anything but flimsy! I checked it for any rough edges before giving it to my son since I didn't want him to get any splinters and it's very smooth and seems very well put together. He's been playing with it everyday for the last couple weeks and it still looks brand new. This is neither a pro or a con, but I feel like I should mention that the "cube" shaped mold is actually tapered which my son finds slightly frustrating. The only other thing I can think of that is both good and bad are the rubber grips on the bottom. I love that it doesn't slide so much on my son, but it makes cleaning up the spilled kinetic sand a little harder as the sand seems to cling to the grips. Overall, it's a really great little sandbox.

This looks nice on a desk, but I've left some kinetic sand in the wooden tray for a while and it sort of sticks to the surface. Maybe there is some breakdown occurring between the kinetic sand and the finish on the bamboo.

Both my toddler and preschooler love this sandbox that can be used indoors.
