This was an easy replacement for my existing Kwikset lock
This was an easy replacement for my existing Kwikset lock. Installation required a flathead and phillips screw driver and took me about 15 minutes. The SmartKey functionality is amazing- you can program this lock to your existing key in about 30 seconds. It sure beats the old way of having a locksmith swap out the pins.The finish is very attractive and the doorknob has a very smooth engagement. So far it is very solid, no wiggles.

Solid and quiet
I have had mixed success with Kwikset in the past and felt like Schlage was the better offering. However when in a home store recently I had the opportunity to try out several Schlage variety and several Kwikset varients. In every case the Kwikset had a more solid feel, we're tighter and quieter. I purchased a couple to try out and I couldn't be more pleased. They are super quiet and don't rattle at all. No metal on metal noises. They also offer a great guarantee on them. I just purchased 4 more to install.

Love these levers
Love these levers. They look classy, are easy to install / re-key and the bronze holds up. I replaced the stock hardware on 2 new houses with bronze Tustin levers. You wont be disappointed.
