I never thought there was any difference between lip balm brands. I always assumed it was just the difference in prices. But wow, Blistex has woken me up to the harsh reality. I've been taking Accutane for a few months now, and the result of that is constantly having dry lips, to the point where I have to apply lip balm every hour. I've been using the Soft Lips Cube, however, it always seemed like my lips were constantly dry even after applying it. I would end up picking at my lips and making them extremely swollen. However, after a recommendation by my friend, I decided to try Blistex out.The difference is simply amazing. Compared to the hourly application I had to do with my other lip balm, I could apply Blistex once or twice each day and have my lips feeling smooth and moisturized. I can definitely feel the effects of the lip balm as I apply it because there's this sort of healing, spicy feeling that radiates off my lips as I smooth it over my lips. The best part is, after a few minutes of initially applying it, I forget it's even there so there's no heavy feeling at all! I'm very thankful for Blistex as it helps me control how often my lips chap and have me feeling as good as new. It's easy to apply and I will definitely be switching to Blistex from now on.

If you are a chapstick addict like me then this is the product for you! I know I sound like I am being paid to say that but I swear I am not. I have used Blistex for like 15 years!!! My husband teases me that I have a chapstick in every room in the house (which is probably true). This chapstick doesn't sting your lips and it doesn't make your lips feel all waxy; just nice relief from dry lips.

Just what I ordered and in perfect condition.

Bought this when I couldn't find the Chapstick Medicated...and yeah, it's just not the same for what my lips need...didn't really seem to do anything or moisturize my lips. I knew better, because this seems to happen every time I try something other than the Chapstick Medicated...it just does what I need. So if you are looking for a replacement for that, keep looking...might work for others.
