Got this as a gift for a friend, the leather is nice and the pages are a series of bundles so you can take some out if it's too fat. My only complaint is I wish the strap was a bit longer by maybe an inch. It's just a bit too short to easily tuck to keep it closed tight. Otherwise great.

Really love this journal. Neat looking and fun to use. The only complaint is that it is smaller than I expected. I should have taken the time to consider the measurements. Had I done so, I would have purchased the next larger size.

At first i worried if the strap can keep the cover tightly around the notebook, but it's certainly not a problem cause the friction is good enough to hold it. The size is small and pages are thick as I wanted. The pages are really nice that i can use fountain pens and write with forces and the ink won't go to the other side. The only explains i got beside the price is that there are five bundles of papers and it makes it a bit hard to write due to the height of it above your desk. But anyway, the thickness is one charm of it, so you just need to deal with it.

my brother loved this gift, but i felt it was too small (could be my fault for not seeing measurements) and it was shipped in a cheap plastic wrapping and no box. (other seller of same item had box) but, fine for the price.

Wonderful little journal! It fits comfortably in the hand, and is lovely to write in, for the paper is beautiful. There is some see through if you use a marker, or an ink brush. (Cf. photos)The five nicely sewn in notebooks makes this a thick journal, but which does not impede the writing process—at least for me it does not. The leather is pleasing enough, and the stitching is pretty. Page count is 38 pages per book, 190 pages in total. Overall, this journal is perfect for my writing needs!N.B. Good binding for the gatherings, great cloth paper, great leather. It's a little small, but I still filled one up before moving on to a larger version.

At first, I thought it was too small. Now, after using and handling it for a while, I think it's perfect. It feels great in the hands. The materials it's made of feels natural and comforting. It's great to hold and flip through. I'm not really a bible reader, although if all bibles were made like this I probly would be. Touching and feeling this journal book inspires me to write the best book ever. Maybe it'll feel like inspiring you too.

It was a lot smaller than I expected and a little pricey which is why I gave it 4 stars instead of five. Other than those things I love it!!!
