Kraft Minute Tapioca, 8-Ounce Boxes (Pack of 6)

The flavor of this takes me years. Each time I make another bowl of Tapioca, I remember the smell as I waited and watched Mom stir this on top of the stove. That aroma that filled the kitchen, sometimes the whole house is still the same. The flavor and ease of minute made makes this an awesome desert any time of day. Another benefit of ordering a six-pack is that it is always on the shelf for quick and reliable deserts. Top off with anything, experiment, goes perfect at any function at all and it stores very well in my pantry.

Our stores around here have not been able to get any in for months so I went on like to find it, although it is VERY expensive it was well worth it to me I gave it to my daughter for her birthday she was so happy to get it.

Very pricey considering what I used to pay in a local grocery store. But considering that the stores haven’t had it in stock for months, it is wonderful to find tapioca at any price.

This was purchased as a gift for my husband's mother...she makes THE best tapioca but has not made it much lately, partly due to loss of her beloved to cancer and her own cancer coming back. I know she loves to cook and bake as part of her creative outlet and she LOVES to see people eat. When she said the price of this product in the grocery store was over $6.00, I just HAD to look on Amazon. So very cool to find it in a pack of 6 and with Amazon Prime, no shipping. It was so fun to give it to her today (5 Jan 2013). She was glad. (And now we will get more of her awesome tapioca pudding.) Thank you Amazon.

Ya esta escasa en los mercados

I've been making a lot of pies lately to control the sugar in our desserts. I found a recipe for pie dough that uses vodka and is totally made in the food processor, so nothing is holding me back. What I balked at was the price of this unique tapioca that so ideally thickens berry and cherry juice for my pie fillings when purchased individually at my grocery store. Apparently people cooking with tapioca is a fading art, so stores can charge pretty high prices for this item because people who do use it will buy it. I am so happy to have found a more affordable place to purchase this item. I emptied three boxes into a canister, and simply scoop out two or three tablespoons of it every time I make berry, cherry, or apple pies. Much easier!

So glad to find Kraft's Tapioca. I have used it for 50 years and want nothing else. Can't believe you can't find it anymore in the store. SO SAD.
