Whey Fantastic (Chocolate, 1 lb)

I have severe food sensitivities and really hoped this powder would work as my normal one has more than doubled in price. Im always wary of 'natural flavor'- this does have a slight coconut flavor and it caused me immediate headache and abdominal swelling, which almost always is caused by soy or coconut in my case. If soy is your issue, I'd pass by. If not, the flavor really is pumped up and it's very smooth! Grass fed is a great bonus.

Overall, I would buy this again. Taste is not objectionable & the price is good. Mixes slightly better than average (I have used ~25 protein mixes).There is something odd though. When I opened the first 1lb container, I saw what looked to be little crystals that I could not reconcile vs. the ingredient list.I thought it might be a broken silicone desiccant packet from shipping. Amazon sent a replacement before I used it at all. Second container also contained the crystals.Confused, I called the company that informed me they do not ship their powders with any desiccants.I've mixed it twice now, and the crystal pellets were not dissolved after sitting for ~10 minutes, following being mixed in a shaker bottle.Has anyone else experienced this? Pictures attached. For scale, powder is sitting on top of a tuna fish can.

Disgusting, sickly sweet lab sugar taste. People keep telling me Stevia is so great because it's sweeter and therefore you can use less of it, yet every product that uses it, uses way too much. After trying one serving, I am honestly going to dump the rest of this $25 tub in the trash. There's no way I can drink an entire pound of it. I guess I must have accidentally read the ingredients for the Unflavored product, as there's no way I would have bought it if I'd known it contained Stevia and Xylitol.

I needed a protein powder that is grass fed & a lot were much more than I wanted to spend on the 1st try. This one is actually really tasty to me. I add it to vanilla almond milk & add a touch of cinnamon. Blends very good in my nutri bullet, not clumpy at all. Do wish the container was filled up more so there wasn’t so much empty space. That’s my only fault with this product. I’m very pleased with the taste once it’s all blended!

It mixes very well with almond milk and tastes smooth. But didn't have scooper inside.
