I usually only write reviews to give a psa/warning. This is a great product but using distilled water will make it perform very poorly. Use tap or regular bottled water. The type of water you use will make or break your experience.I bought a different humidifier from this brand in 2022 and the instruction manual for that one explicitly stated not to use distilled water. I tried it both ways and I found that using distilled water made it drippy, noisy and spurt big water drops all over the place, soaking everything. I tried tap water and it ran perfectly.Fast forward to 2024 and I need another humidifier (the old one didn't break, i just threw it out). I saw this one and read all of the reviews and took the chance because it met my needs. I read the instruction manual and since it didn't say anything about distilled water I used it because in my experience with humidifiers, distilled water keeps them cleaner. I tried it for a few days and it was a noisy, sputtering mess that wasn't operating evenly. I remembered my old one and tried normal water and it works like a dream again. Super quiet, smooth operation and no water drops all over the place. Perfect perfect perfect. The humidifier had most of the problems I read about in the reviews until I stopped using distilled water.Other notes:-I like a pitch black room at night and this one has a pin sized red light that's barely noticeable unlike the huge green lights on some machines.-Putting the lid back on can be annoying but you just have to really look at what you're doing. I would still recommend this humidifier if it fits your needs in every other way.-I ended up having to clean candle soot off of the entire body of the product (mine is white) and that meant scrubbing and rinsing the whole thing, even the USB port and button. I knew it was a risk but I let it fully dry USB side down for about three days and it still works perfectly. So if you accidentally get it really wet or need to clean it, there is still hope.

I purchased a dozen various brands of tiny portable humidifiers and they all have issues (loud noises, light won’t turn off, turns off on its own ect). This is the only one that stands the test of time. I wish it was cordless though.

This is a great little humidifier. It's quiet, compact and really lets out a good amount of mist. I do wish that it didn't have to be plugged in constantly, but can't knock it, since it was my mistake for not realizing that. My one complaint is that the threads to screw the two pieces together are terribly flawed. This thing is a pain to close when you've filled it. Sometimes I got in in the first few tries, but more than a few times I'd spend several frustrating minutes getting it closed. All in all, it works well and is affordable, but surely that flaw could be fixed!

I use this humidifier for my plants and it seems to work fine. I was concerned when I bought it because I noticed that when I held my finger over it, a white droplet would form on my finger. Upon reading other reviews it seems like others had issues with it leaving a white powdery film on surfaces. Now that I’ve had it for a while, I have started to notice a white layer of powdery stuff on my black plastic chair that’s nearby. It seems to wipe off with some effort, but it is a bit concerning to me.The lid is also SUPER annoying to screw on, because the lines are weird and don’t seamlessly match up, so it’s super finicky when trying to put the lit back on. The light function is nice, I really like the “breathe” mode where it fades. It’s also super quiet, I never even notice it.

I bought this to take away on vacation since I have allergies and always sleep with a humidifier. I was really impressed with how well it worked. There are two options on how you can run it and you can choose with or without color. It fits easily into my suitcase and runs on full steam the entire night! The only issue I ran into with it was the cord that came with it stopped working. I thought the unit was broken but when I got home from my trip I used a different cord to test it and it worked. I was storing the cord wrapped up inside the humidifier so I would say don't do that. I am sure I got moisture in the cord which caused it to stop working. I would highly recommend this product.

I love this mini humidifier. I have been using it not just at home as my own bedside humidifier but also when I travel when the hotels are extremely dry and staticky. I like that it includes additional filters and it's a USB plug as opposed to the old AC/DC plug, so it is not bulky to carry or bring with you. I also love that the water does not dissipate fast since you can set it to intermittent spews instead of continuous spews. One side note to know about this item is to make sure you are okay with the span of the area it can humidify. Since I use this as a bedside humidifier, it is sufficient for me as it doesn't dry my throat and nasal passages while sleeping.

I bought this humidifier to have in my office. I have pretty bad allergies and the dry air in the office doesn't help. This humidifier is super cute and very quiet- not COMPLETELY silent but very, very close to silent. I fill it up at the beginning of the work day and have roughly 3/4 of an inch of water left after having it run continuously for 8 hours. Easy to put together, easy to operate. Would recommend.

Totally easy to use! Two modes for cool steam and three modes for light (off, on and fade). Quick touch to control mist and long touch to control light. Size of a pop can, but lasts all night. Makes no noise, runs off of USB cable (included). Would buy again!

Haven't used it yet, but definitely not black...or any of the other color options.
