The local shop wanted $90 plus tax to replace my battery. At about $15, this was the way to go.The kit includes many tools; all you'll need to do the replacement. I was impressed with the quality and quantity of the tools provided. The big value-add is their YouTube video in which they use this kit and provide step by step instructions. It's well done and easy to follow, though it requires close attention.Do this on a clean well-lit surface. You absolutely won't believe how small the screws inside your iPhone are. Picture in your mind the tiny screws that go in eyeglass hinges. Your iPhone screws will be about 1/5 the size.If they're out of stock here, check their website. This is the kit you want.

Product worked, fit my iPhone 7, etc… What I really appreciated was the professional experience. The product was well packaged and came with all the tools you need. Note that it came with the waterproofing adhesive for the case. Additionally, the instruction video was well put together and very clear. Much better than the Loire budget videos all over YouTube that attempt to shore the same thing. It made replacement as easy as one could expect. I had to consult the website’s faqs due to the battery not being within the specified charge level and it answered my questions straight away. Mine was not above 15% out of the box, but we had shipping delays from extreme weather and it sat outside in sub freezing weather for a day. I don’t hold this against the company. It seems to charge just fine though. Very satisfied. Will modify my review if charge isn’t sustained,

Well, I am a woman and not tech savvy, but was able to replace the battery on an old iPhone 7 by myself. I needed an extra phone for a trip abroad, this battery gave a decent option to fix and old phone. The item came nicely packed with tools etc. Youtube videos were a great help. At first the battery did not work (out of the box) and had to be charged right after replacement. That fixed my old phone’s existing issues. I think the battery drains faster than original and also gets hot while charging. Still value for money considering the price point.

Everything about this battery is amazing, the tools are very high quality, they give you the waterproof seal that most parts forget (letting in water and dust in your phone is a no go) and best of all, the battery itself works well and lasts a long time! I won't be using the phone I repaired regularly, but it is nice to know it'll last much longer than it previously did (originally the phone had 72% battery health and would die after 2 hours of screen time). I hope to continue to use ScandiTech for other replacement batteries for other phones in my collection.

I'm glad I scrolled through the myriad options for iPhone 7 batteries and found this one. The packaging is Apple-quality: all the tools and the battery come in a hard-sided box that's padded to prevent breakage or crumpling. There's a QR code to a YouTube video that clearly demonstrates the process to replace the battery. There were even redundant sets of battery adhesives and gasket seals in case I screwed up the install (I didn't, TYVM). My iPhone now works flawlessly and the battery health screen now shows a maximum capacity of 100%. I will seek out ScandiTech products should I need replacement batteries for any technology in the future. Thanks for the excellent product!

I've purchased twice. Huge improvement over my original battery, at first. However, after 6 months of daily use, the battery went from making it through my full day, to making it about half way through my day. Out of laziness I held on and the battery survived 18 months before complete failure (would only hold charge for a few hours with limited use). I replaced with same brand because all the other brands on Amazon had lousier reviews. Overall, I'd recommend an Apple replacement because cost is decent and performance is superior, but Apple won't replace my battery because the phone has other issues. Install was easy with the video. Took 30-40 minutes total my second time. I will probably replace this phone versus change the battery again, just because the aftermarket batteries like this one don't last long.

The process was pretty good, so much so that I'm doing my wife and granddaughters phones too. The instructional video is a must to use. I watch the video twice before tackling the job. It took about an hour to complete, however being an engineer I am pretty methodical.I would have given Scenditech a 5 star however they omitted the gasket seal from the original shipment, however, I sent an email on Saturday afternoon informing them of the missing part and got a response, apologizing and a notification that the missing part was on the way. Great customer service. I am glad I followed my instincts to deal with a US based customer service company.

My iPhone had to be charged several times daily, as well as growing hot during use. I saw the Scanditech video on YouTube, and felt that it was the most well done, which convinced me to give it a try. When the package arrived, I was impressed at the nice packaging and full complement of tools in the kit. I followed along with the video while changing the battery, and all went well. My only complaint is that the part about replacing the seal was not explained very well. Bottom line: I am very happy with the new battery, and feel that it has breathed new life into my phone.Update: 90 days after replacement and no problems. I am very happy with the product.
