The Triceptor

The two upright weight bearing bars are each held in place by a single pin. The bars slide into another bar with the customary plastic sheath that usually breaks at some point. Thus the upright bars had a fair amount of wiggle room, even when they were at the lower height. I could not place one support bar lower until I removed the plastic end cap. Until I did, the holes wouldn't match up to insert the locking pin. The single adjustable bar joining the two sides could not keep my 180 lbs from easily spreading the upright bars apart. The upright bars plastic sheaths allow wiggle room and also the floor bars rotated outward. I had a friend weld on three bars to join the two halfs permanently together. He also welded the upright bars so now they are not adjustable. Now it is very solid and worthy of a four star rating. The hand grips are poorly padded and should be larger in circumference.

I would not recommend this product to anyone, shipping was a week in a half late, rust on a lot of the corners, not sturdy enough, sending a VCR tape for instructions what a joke.

I purchased the Triceptor a few months ago. When it arrived, the UPS driver had left it with us with a suggestion that we request it be returned. It arrived poking holes through the box and with broken parts. So I contacted the folks at Endure Fitness and received a response from the inventor of the Triceptor apologetic and promising to send another as soon as they received the first one. After a few more weeks, another Triceptor arrived, this one appearing to be better packaged.I just put it together and it seems it will serve well as a dip machine. It does not fold, as it appear previous Triceptor models have (including the one in the picture) and I had to use a hammer to bang down a soldering bump that prevented the handles from being placed properly. A little frustrating, but the customer service was good, and hopefully it will prove to be a good machine.

I was afraid to purchase this simply because i saw no reviews about it, and the seller was also new and had no feedback.My main reason on buying this was because the flexibility of adjusting the width of the bar. My shoulders are not very wide, and i've bought a few from a local sports store where they were all too wide and didnt feel natural. overall i'm happy with this product and i've been using it since i've bought it.Pros-EASY assembly, took less than 5min-Adjustable width for people with wider or shorter shoulders-Flexible, small, easy to put awayCons-When getting ready to do dips, the bars are shaky (but go away after you begin working out)Overall i recommend it!

Very solid machine that allows for several types of dips as well as pushups with various hand positions. This us an excellent machine for limited space and it can be folded down further for storage.

IT COST TOO MUCH. YOU CAN JUST MAKE A BETTER ONE WITH SOME 4 BY 4S AND SOME PIPE FOR WAY CHEAPER. THE HANDLES DONT EVEN FIT IN THE HOLES AND WHEN YOU TRY TO GET AHOLD OF THE COMPANY TO TRY TO FIX IT OR RETURN IT THE NUMBER IS OUT OF SERVICE AND THEY DONT EMAIL YOU BACK AND ITS IMPOSSIBLE TO GET AHOLD OF THEM.

It didn't come with any instructions even though it doesn't take a genius to put it together,and it comes with a VHS workout video really!!! We are in 2011 who owns a VHS anymore so that's useless.

This product works ok but there are two things that I don't like about it. The first is that it wobbles due to losely fitted connecting parts. The second issue is that the padding on the handles is very thin and hard providing little comfort for the hands. I would not consider purchasing this product again.
