Mensa Train Your Brain: Brain-Scrambling Challenges

My six-year-old son and I worked for over an hour to solve puzzle 27 only to discover (by looking at the answers which we hate to do) that the lines don't add up to 26 and the puzzle used the number 5 twice when we were told we could only use each number once. Very frustrating. We expected more from a book put out by the Mensa organization.
