Caregiver Pager & SOS Alert - Wireless System with 400ft Range and No Batteries Required.

I bought this for my mother to use as an emergency alarm during the night- it would reach to my brother's house across the street. She's now in heaven so I'm using it as a wireless doorbell. It works perfectly and NO BATTERIES TO WEAR OUT! YEAH! Living in Florida, outdoor wireless doorbells go bad quickly from the heat and humidity. I'm optimistic that this one will last. One downside- whenever the interior unit is unplugged (or the electric goes off in the house) it goes back to the default settings. It has no memory for the sound and volume that you have chosen. If that really bothers you, plug the interior unit into an uninterruptible power supply.

Just received this gadget. Works exactly as advertised. Just plug it in and choose a ringtone. The pager button requires a slight bit of pressure to click it, in case that's an issue, but my severely arthritic hands are able to use it. Only one flaw: no extra transmitters available.

It works much better than the battery operated chimes.It's loud enough and works in great range.Highly recommended item.
