At first, I was very impressed with the build quality of this adapter - but that impression quickly turned sour. While in use (charging and using my Samsung Series 9 laptop), the adapter got to hot to touch. I measured over 107 degress F with an Extech ambient temp probe over the adapter.I left a voicemail with PWR+ concerning this condition and I never heard back. I subsequently returned the adapter fearing this thing could be a fire hazard!Amended 4/20/14Since my original review was posted, PWR+ got in touch with me with an offer to replace the defective power supply at no cost.While I wish it didn't take a negative review to get a response, I do appreciate this vendor's intention to make it right. I promptly received the replacement, and I'm happy to report it does not get as hot as my first unit. It seems to get warmer than the OEM adapter, but not so hot as to seem a fire hazard.Thanks PWR+ !Updated 1/19/2020Well, I had to purchase as replacement on my original adapter had developed a weak and sporadic connection on the AC inlet. The current model is larger and heavier than the original and is rated to put out higher amperage than my original. This unit does NOT run hot.However, I emailed the manufacturer 9 days ago with question about the two adapters and have not heard back - so support here is still non-existent! Got email today asking for review - so here it is. well built product - 0 support.Amended 1/24/2020So, I'm updating my review because I have indeed heard from support and they've been very helpful. This feels like a solid company that wants satisfied customers. Fits my Samsung Series 9 laptop to a tee.Amended 7/28/2020I can't believe I'm writing this many reviews - but I want to give a shout out to the customer service, which is outstanding. Pending my last communication with the company in January, I was promised a free replacement with a smaller, lighter version of this adapter when it would be released this summer. I contacted customer service and got a response within a day apologizing for the fact that they won't be getting a new model for Samsung Series 9. I cannot believe I was offered a full refund because the company wants me to be happy with my purchase. I had to share that news here as this level of customer service is so rare, it deserves acknowledgment.

My origional charger from Samsung broke as I was a college student carelessly throwing the charger into my bag. Couldn't find an official Samsung option so I went with this, and it fit perfectly and charged my computer without problem. I've been using it for years and it still works great

I bought a charger to replace the original Samsung one that came with my laptop. This one works perfectly so far, but it's only one day so we'll see how it lasts. So far, though, I am very satisfied with the purchase.Edit: It's been a couple of days so far and I have better thoughts about the charger. It charges and works very well, especially when your original charger dies and you're in emergency need of a new one (due to virtual work meetings). However, I found that the port (the metal part that you actually stick in) doesn't stay in as well as the original charger. It does fall out more easily but it's not like it falls out during every use. It only falls out if I move my laptop too much while it's charged in. Other than that, I am very happy about my charger and as my laptop stays stationary, the problem isn't really an issue for me. Would've been nice for it to stick in nice and strong though.

I have Samsung Spin 9 series laptop and I wanted second charger power cord so I can carry when I travel. I like the fact that product is under $20, and cord is long. No issues so far, works just like oem charger. Charger block is little bigger than oem one, but no big deal for me. This is actually second one I am buying, I had to give up my first one to my friend from Korea who forgot her Samsung laptop charger back in Korea. I was surprised it fit her laptop too eventhough it was not Spin 9 series laptop. Looks like this power charger fits lot of Samsung laptop models. Just check if your model is included when you buy it.

Needed a couple of extra power adapters for my Samsung Series 9 (NP900X4C-A03US) Ultrabook, and these work exactly as described. The power connector fits well and clicks in, and while the connection isn't as stiff as the official Samsung power adapter, it works just as well to charge the unit -- and for a fraction of the price.If you want to pay $75 or so for an official Samsung adapter, you're welcome to do so. But if you need a couple extras for your office or to travel with, consider picking up these units. They're relatively light, and they have a good length. The power cable (the end that goes from the brick to the outlet) can be detached from the brick, allowing flexibility. The other end that goes from the brick to the laptop cannot be detached, but it is quite long.If I needed another power brick for the Samsung Series 9 Ultrabooks, I'd purchase this again. Highly recommend.

As other reviews have said, the connector fits loose to my NP900X 9 Series Notebook. It always falls out. I'd think your laptop is charged, but naw, the plug fell out because I had moved the laptop 1 inch on the table....I taped it to the laptop for many many months, but it is becoming absolutely too much of a nuisance and negates the purpose of actually having portability with the laptop.If they had made it like OEM to properly notch into the power socket, there would not be this issue.So now will have to find another brand outside of return period. Given all the inconvenience, my experience is 1 star.

This charger was one-third the price of the two I bought previously from big box stores. The two universal ones I purchased at the box stores did not fit my Samsung note computer. They both included a tag to call a 1-800 number to get the proper adapter tip. I returned both and purchased this. It works incredibly and the cord is 12 ft long. If I knew how good this was oh, I would have purchased it just replace the one that came with my computer with the short cord.

The charger worked fine for 10 months. After checking all the connections, outlets and cords the charger still did not work. The charger lights up, but does not charge.

The media could not be loaded. This charger is required for the Galaxy View 18.4"SM-T670.I can swap out 3 prong plug to the charger to a EU plug which is great. I will update my review when I return from Greece.I haven't noticed any heat problems so I confidentlyre-purchased a second charger as a backup.

I'm very happy with the purchase of this product. I think it might work better than the original.
