Four Stars
Written for the beginner herbalist and I liked the simplicity.

MUCH SMALLER THAN ANTICIPATED
This is litterly less than 10 pages and a companion to a lecture. It would be cool if I could find the lecture online but I cannot.

Informative little zine
If you've never read a zine before, Raleigh Briggs is a good place to start for DIY types. They are neatly and legibly handwritten, and copied on decent quality paper with a nice cover. They are also all nicely illustrated. Most of Briggs' zines and book are a bit longer than this one, this is only about 12 pages long and illustrated by Giovanni Caputo. It starts with a basic introduction to the idea of herbal medicine, and includes information on 3 books recommended for more in depth knowledge. The text covers basic first aid with natural herbal and kitchen remedies. It explains how to make tinctures and salves, and lists alternatives for some of the herbs and spices mentioned. It's 12 pages full of information written in a nicely conversational tone. The illustrations are cute. It was originally written to go with a workshop but it does nicely on it's own.I recommend Raleigh Briggs Make Your Place: Affordable & Sustainable Nesting Skills for more information that works well with this zine. Together, both of them make a nice gift for someone getting their first apartment. I have them set aside for my kids when that time comes.

Ridiculous.
Ridiculously small hand written garbage. I wouldn't pay 10 cents for this alone what I spent. This is almost a scam it is so worthless. I regret the purchase whole heatedly. Look elsewhere if you are looking for anything useful.
