Size 140 grid ruler - make sure it is what you need
I've been doing diamond painting for a while and I started using a grid ruler to keep the rows straight, it works very well for me. What I found is that most grid rulers are a 141 size, and although that worked for most of my projects, I got one painting that the ruler was just slightly off the markings on the painting. Turns out that one needed this 140 size ruler and although I don't like the lattice work style rulers, I am glad I actually found it, because the size seems to be a little more rare, and some listings don't tell you what they are.

Listing has two round and one square ruler listed. This review is for the square rule.
The square ruler has the holes clearly shaped as a square. The round shows round holes. The ruler has been a huge help in lining up the drills. It creates a great 'foundation' of drills and then the ruler is removed and the rest of the drills can be filled in. It should be noted it took a bit of practice to line up the ruler to the grids printed on the canvas. My first attempts I only worked with the left half of the ruler. But with practice I was able to line the entire ruler to grids. The final result is nearly perfect. Wish I had found this for some of my previous square diamond paintings.

Doesn’t work on mine
I knew there were two sizes, and I chose the most popular one, and now it doesn’t work. . It will line up the first five columns, and then it goes off kilter. When you try to line it up to do the rest of that row, you cannot put it over the existing drills. I don’t like to switch back-and-forth with colors, I’d like to do one color at a time. Also this only covers up every other hole Very frustrating and I don’t know how anybody uses this. Not worth returning. I will be throwing this away.

Doesn't line up
Works good but the grid doesn't line up with the grid on my painting. The right side of my picture shows what I'm talking about

It's ok, I wouldn't buy again though. I'm better off just doing my own pattern.

Measure first
Doesn't quite line up with the diamond art that I'm working on. I cut it to see if o can just line up smaller sections.
